A celebration of folk songs collected in the Adirondack Mountains during the 1940s and '50s by "songcatcher" Marjorie Lansing Porter, featuring remarks from Pete Seeger; and Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul and Mary. Also: contemporary folk musicians Lee Knight, David Ruch, Dan Berggren and Alex Smith discuss and perform some of the songs; and the Bacon Brothers perform "My Adirondack Home."
