Morena Baccarin (Actor)
Born: June 02, 1979
Birthplace: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Trivia: When she took her on-camera bow in the early 2000s, Brazilian-born actress Morena Baccarin maintained equal footing in the film and television arenas, typically filling parts that called for an exotic ingenue with an undercurrent of raw intelligence. Feature roles included the evocation of a gifted and brilliant young actress typecast by gender at the hands of sexist casting directors in Daniel Kay's ensemble comedy drama Way Off Broadway (2001) and a bit part in the 2002 comedy Roger Dodger (as a pickup). Baccarin's regular small-screen role on the 2002 sci-fi-Western hybrid series Firefly -- as Inara, a "companion" (a well-respected courtesan) on board a futuristic spaceship -- yielded an assignment to reprise that characterization in the big-screen adaptation of that series, Serenity (2005). After taking on guest roles on such small-screen programs as The O.C., Justice League, and Stargate SG-1, Baccarin landed regular billing as a nurse on the series medical drama Heartland (2007), opposite Treat Williams and Dabney Coleman. She continued to find steady work on the small screen with supporting roles in the reboot of ABC's sci-fi series V, as well as in the award-winning spy series Homeland; she later recurred on The Flash before joining the cast of Gotham
W. Earl Brown (Actor)
Born: September 07, 1963
Birthplace: Golden Pond, Kentucky, United States
Trivia: Attended The Theatre School at DePaul University at the same time as Gillian Anderson; the pair performed together in Scenes From American Life while both at school. Appeared in a Steppenwolf Theatre production of A View From the Bridge shortly after graduating from DePaul. Was a vocal coach on Backdraft. Wrote and produced the film Bloodworth (2011). Appears in the 2012 music video for Miranda Lambert's "Fastest Girl in Town." Plays the guitar in a bluegrass band called Sacred Cowboy.
Christopher Gorham (Actor)
Born: August 14, 1974
Birthplace: Fresno, California, United States
Trivia: Roles in such popular small-screen series as Party of Five, Popular, and Felicity have made actor Christopher Gorham a familiar face to television viewers, and with the premiere of his sci-fi drama Jake 2.0 in 2003, it seems as though the burgeoning actor may have finally come into his own in the competitive realm of prime-time television. Born to a certified public accountant and a school nurse in California, Gorham discovered his love of acting early on when he took home his school's Best Actor award for his portrayal of The Mad Hatter in a fourth grade production of Alice in Wonderland. Gorham advanced to Roger Rocka's Dinner Theater before enrolling in the Roosevelt School of the Arts, and it was there that he truly began to refine his skills on-stage. A B.A. in film and theater arts from U.C.L.A. was soon to follow, and shortly after college, Gorham began landing roles in television (Party of Five) and film (A Life Less Ordinary). After sticking to the small screen for Popular, Gorham took a supporting role in the 2000 feature Dean Quixote and the lead in the Mormon drama The Other Side of Heaven (2001). Of course it was only a matter of time before Gorham took the lead on the small screen as well, and following supporting performances in Felicity and Odyssey 5 he was heading the cast of the weekly sci-fi drama Jake 2.0. The story of a young man's journey from typical teen to superhuman hero debuted in September of 2003. He would continue to work on the small screen playing Henry, the love interest on Ugly Betty, and he had major parts in the 2010 indie comedy Answer This! And the 2011 thriller The Ledge.
