Kristoffer Polaha (Actor)
Born: February 18, 1977
Birthplace: Reno, Nevada, United States
Trivia: After working in television for a several years, mostly in guest roles on such series as Angel, Tru Calling, and Roswell, Kristoffer Polaha scored quite the part as his first major role -- the Reno, Nevada-born actor portrayed John F. Kennedy Jr. (no stretch, given the physical resemblance) in the warmly received 2003 telemovie America's Prince: The John F. Kennedy Jr. Story. Not long after that, Polaha took on his first regular TV role, playing luxery hotel manager Jason Matthews on the prime-time soaper North Shore. When that series ended after just one season, Polaha continued on with guest work on popular shows such as House, Bones, and Mad Men, appearing in a regular role again in 2008 on the very short-lived sitcom Miss Guided. On that series, he played shop teacher-turned-Spanish instructor Tim O'Malley -- the object of high-school guidence councilor Becky Freeley's (Judy Greer) affection. He continued to appear in small-screen fare such as Life Unexpected and Ringer. In his private life, Polaha made headlines in 2003, when he courted and wed Days of Our Lives heartthrob Julianne Morris -- nine years his senior -- and parented children with her not long after.
Lindy Booth (Actor)
Born: April 02, 1979
Birthplace: Oakville, Ontario, Canada
Trivia: Svelte redheaded actress Lindy Booth began life in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, in 1979, then attended secondary school at nearby Blakelock High and moved into acting immediately following graduation. Per the route of many an ingenue, early assignments seemed to pigeonhole Booth in horror or action fare, such as the 2002 outing The Skulls II (2002) and the 2004 Dawn of the Dead, though in time she graduated to deeper and more multidimensional roles. These included a prominent turn as a best friend in the family-oriented holiday telemovie Christmas in Boston (2005) and another supporting role in director Randall Miller's comically charged crime thriller Nobel Son (2007), opposite Danny DeVito, Bill Pullman, and Mary Steenburgen. Booth also appeared in the ABC TV drama October Road starting in 2007.
Treat Williams (Actor)
Born: December 01, 1951
Died: June 12, 2023
Birthplace: Rowayton, Connecticut, United States
Trivia: After attending Franklin and Marshall College, Treat Williams acted with the prestigious Fulton Repertory troupe. Williams made his Broadway debut in Grease (1976) eventually taking over the leading role of Danny Zuko. His later Broadway credits included the musicals Over Here and Pirates of Penzance and the reader's-theatre exercise Love Letters. In films from 1976, he scored his first significant success as the draft-resistant protagonist of Milos Forman's Hair (1979). He went on to play the title role in The Pursuit of D. B. Cooper (1981), then gained positive critical notice for his work as reluctant interdepartmental police informant Daniel Ciello in Prince of the City (1981). His later film roles included mob-connected labor organizer Jimmy O'Donnell in Once Upon a Time in America (1984) and the seductive James Dean clone in Smooth Talk (1985). Famed for his willingness to tackle any sort of role, Williams' artistic ambitions are backed up by his versatility and astonishing vocal flexibility. On TV, Williams played Stanley Kowalski opposite Ann-Margret's Blanche Dubois in Streetcar Named Desire (1984) and was appropriately sharkish as superagent Mike Ovitz in The Late Shift (1996). He also starred in the weekly series Eddie Dodd (1991) and Good Advice (1995). Many of Treat Williams' recent film roles have exhibited a fondness for expansive, scenery-chewing villainy, notably megalomanic Xander Drax in The Phantom (1995).
