Local 1196: A Steelworker's Strike

In March of 2021, the steelworkers of USW 1196 went on strike against ATI in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania, citing unfair labor practices. The documentary gives a rarely seen vantage point: a labor dispute through the eyes of the strikers, from late night picket line conversations to fiery union hall debates, even a glimpse into the personal lives and homes of 1196 members. As days turn to weeks, and weeks to months, the emotional gamut runs from camaraderie and hope, to frustration.
