Maria's journey continues to the island of Terceira, known by many U.S. veterans for the U.S. Airbase located there since World War II. Maria learns that Terceira isn't just bloodless bullfights and parties, it's also home to stunning scenery, talented artists, and some amazing food. Maria goes inside a volcano, cooks local specialties the Alcartra and the Dona Amelias, and takes a turn at throwing some pottery with a third generation potter using clay that is millions of years old.
