
Samantha kicks off her visit to the Garden State in Cape May, the only US city designated as a National Historic Landmark. In the early 1850s, American Abolitionist Harriet Tubman found refuge in Cape May, where she planned the underground railroad with various abolitionists. At the newly opened Harriet Tubman Museum, Samantha discovers Tubman's connection to New Jersey and how Cape May played a pivotal role in the fight to end slavery.
