A look at the trial of Sinixt member Rick Desautel who was charged with hunting offences in 2010. The native was charged with hunting as a non-resident and without proper permit. However, the hunting occured on ancestral land in Vallican British Columbia Canada. This documentary explores how hunting has been legally denied since 1956 when the government declared the Sinixt extinct in Canada.
