Moved from a home that cost $6000/month to one which cost $700/month during the 2008 housing crash. Came into reality TV on a whim after asking a friend to film part of a renovation. This short clip became their audition tape for HGTV. Cofounded a real estate education company called Success Path. Underwent thyroid cancer treatment in 2013 after a viewer noticed a lump on his neck during an episode of Flip or Flop. Passionate about charitable causes and participated in the 2015 Ice Bucket Challenge to fund ALS research.
