Participated in the 2009 Miss Kerala contest. Was only 16 then and the youngest contestant. Was adjudged 'Miss Beautiful Eyes' in the pageant. Got noticed by Mollywood director Vineeth Sreenivasan when she took part in the Miss Kerala contest and walked away with a role in his film Malarvady Arts Club which went on the become her first film to be released. Made her film debut with director Lenin Rajendran's Makaramanju which released in 2011. Is a trained Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam and Kuchipudi dancer. Aspires to join the Indian Civil Services.
