Fred Williamson (Actor) .. Stone
Born: March 05, 1938
Trivia: After excelling in football and track Northwestern University, African-American film star Fred Williamson was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers. He later played for Pittsburgh, Oakland and Kansas City, bringing attention to himself in the latter city by wearing a custom-tailored uniform and white shoes, and developing a karate-based offensive move which he called "The Hammer." In 1969, Williamson moved into acting, playing important roles in the original M*A*S*H (1970) and Otto Preminger's Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon (1970); he also appeared in the recurring part of Diahann Carroll's macho boyfriend on the TV series Julia (1969-71). One of Hollywood's major black stars of the 1970s, Fred Williamson starred in such actioners as The Legend of Nigger Charley (1972), Hell Up in Harlem (1973), Take a Hard Ride (1975) and The Bronx Warriors (1983); in addition, Williamson produced, directed and wrote many of his vehicles.
Rosemary Forsyth (Actor) .. Francis
Born: July 06, 1943
Birthplace: Montréal, Québec
Trivia: Willowy Canadian leading lady Rosemary Forsyth was signed to a Universal contract after modelling assignments and TV bits. Her first films found Forsyth cast opposite leading men who weren't self-conscious about her 5'9" frame: James Stewart in Shenandoah (1965) and Charlton Heston in The War Lord (1965). Taking a sabbatical from films in 1966 to have a baby, Forsyth returned before the cameras for 1969's Where It's At. Rosemary Forsyth was seen in only a handful of theatrical films thereafter, but remained a frequent visitor to television, showing up in TV movies, daytime dramas, and the famous 1981 "Bomb Threat" episode of WKRP in Cincinnati.
Teresa Graves (Actor) .. Cynthia
Born: January 01, 1944
Died: October 10, 2002
Trivia: Actress Teresa Graves started her career as a singer with the Doodletown Pipers but moved on to acting and appeared in several films during the 1970s. In 1975, Graves abandoned her film career in favor of religion.
Floy Dean (Actor) .. Diane
Richard Anderson (Actor) .. Dole
Born: August 08, 1926
Birthplace: Long Branch, New Jersey, United States
Trivia: Following his screen debut in 1949's Twelve O'Clock High, Richard Anderson was groomed for stardom at MGM. His stature in Hollywood seemed assured when he married the daughter of former MGM luminary Norma Shearer. But Anderson was -- by his own admission -- a less-than-noble figure in his younger days, losing both prestige and several plum film roles through his arrogance, his explosive temper, and his after-hours carousing. A kinder, mellower Richard Anderson resurfaced on television in the 1970s, gaining a modest but loyal fan following thanks to his weekly appearances as Oscar Goldman in The Six Million Dollar Man. Anderson also played Goldman on the spin-off series The Bionic Woman -- the result being that, for several years in the mid-1970s, he was simultaneously co-starring on two different TV series in the same role. Richard Anderson's additional TV-series stints included Mama Rosa (1950), Bus Stop (1961), Dan August (1970), Cover-Up (1984) and Dynasty (1986-87 season).
Cyril Delevanti (Actor) .. Talbot
Born: February 23, 1889
Richard X. Slattery (Actor) .. Bowen
Born: June 26, 1925
Died: January 27, 1997
Trivia: Before he became an actor, Richard Xavier Slattery spent 12 years on the beat as a street cop in New York. It was during that time that he began appearing off-Broadway. Slattery made it to Broadway in 1961 where he appeared in a couple of plays. In the mid-'60s, he began playing character roles on a wide variety of television series ranging from Bonanza to Bewitched to Mr. Roberts. In the distinguished miniseries The Winds of War, Slattery played Admiral Halsey. He has also appeared in a few feature films, including Walking Tall and The Apple Dumpling Gang, but Slattery may best be remembered for the 17 years in which he portrayed Murph in UnoCal commercials. He passed away on January 27, 1997, at the Motion Picture & Television Hospital in Woodland Hills, CA. The official cause of death was listed as a stroke.
