Noah Ringer (Actor) .. Aang
Born: November 18, 1996
Trivia: Noah Ringer began practicing tae kwon do as a small child, a skill that would prove to be a serious professional asset. The Texas native sent in an audition tape for casting in the 2010 movie The Last Airbender, and when the process was said and done, the 12 year old scored the leading role of Aang, a powerful martial arts master in training, on a journey to harness mystical powers that control the elements. Before the film even hit theaters, Ringer signed on for his next role, in the 2011 action movie Cowboys & Aliens.
Dev Patel (Actor) .. Prince Zuko
Born: April 23, 1990
Birthplace: Harrow, Middlesex, England
Trivia: British actor Dev Patel began showing signs of his talent as a performer at a young age, earning praise for his work in school plays when he was still in primary school. Born to Indian parents, Patel grew up in the London suburb of Harrow, where he focused on drama in school. At 16, he was studying for the higher education qualifying exams that make up a rigorous portion of British academic life when he scored a role on the hit English teen drama Skins. By the next year, he was cast in the leading role of Jamal Malik in Danny Boyle's landmark film Slumdog Millionaire, playing a kid from the slums of Mumbai who experiences a miraculous series of events despite his desperate surroundings. Patel instantly became a worldwide star, and his performance in the award-winning film was celebrated by audiences and critics alike. Soon, he was parlaying the success into new projects, signing on to play Zuko in The Last Airbender. He followed that up two years later with a turn in the all-star ensemble The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

Jackson Rathbone (Actor) .. Sokka
Born: December 14, 1984
Birthplace: Singapore
Trivia: A quintessential screen heartthrob who bore more than a passing appeal to young female viewers, Jackson Rathbone began signing for movie roles in his early twenties. He made guest appearances on the TV series The O.C. and Close to Home, and held an ongoing role on the short-lived Daphne Zuniga drama series Beautiful People, but first began to attract serious attention and consideration with his fine contribution to the Hallmark made-for-television drama The Valley of Light (2007), as a young convict in the post-WWII American South. In 2008, Rathbone landed one of the starring roles in director Catherine Hardwicke's much-anticipated vampire drama Twilight. He played the role of Jasper in that film and in all the sequels. He also appeared in the ill-fated Donnie Darko sequel S. Darko and The Last Airbender. In 2010 he starred in an co-produced the drama Girlfriend, also contributing to the film's score. Birthplace: Rotorua, New Zealand
Trivia: A ubiquitous actor specializing in ethnically oriented character roles of various racial backgrounds, New Zealand-born Cliff Curtis, who is of Maori decent, debuted onscreen in the very early '90s. He then proceeded to chalk up a myriad of effective supporting parts in A-list features including The Piano (1993), Six Days, Seven Nights (1998), Bringing Out the Dead (1999), Whale Rider (2002), Runaway Jury (2003), Sunshine (2007), and Live Free or Die Hard (2007). Curtis ascended to supporting billing opposite Harrison Ford and Sean Penn in the immigration-themed drama Crossing Over (2008) and tackled another major supporting role in Roland Emmerich's prehistoric adventure 10,000 B.C. Three years later, she co-founded Kentucky's Pilgrim Repertory Theatre, then spent the next two decades appearing in one Broadway production after another. In the early 1990s she reemerged on the film scene as a character actress, essaying such roles as the "Cheese Lady" in The Night We Never Met (1993) and Mrs. Hale in Ethan Frome (1994). The film -- adapted from the controversial best-selling novel of the same name by Alicia Erian -- observes the tumultuous events that befall a young Arab-American teen on the eve of the U.S. invasion of Iraq (heading into the Gulf War) -- including confrontations with racism, hypocrisy, and mistrust.
Randall Duk Kim (Actor) .. Old Man in Temple
Born: September 24, 1943
Trivia: Though many viewers will associate him exclusively with Asian character roles in Hollywood features, Hawaii native Randall Duk Kim actually gained his footing as a classically trained thespian in Shakespearean plays, many of which were mounted at the New York Shakespeare Festival during the 1970s, '80s, and '90s. Kim hardly limited his on-stage activity to the musings of the great Bard, however, with a resumé that included leads and supporting roles in dozens of non-Shakespearean plays -- everything from J.B. Priestley's When We Are Married to Bertolt Brecht's The Threepenny Opera. One of his most prestigious accomplishments involved founding the American Players Theater in Wisconsin with Charles Bright and Anne Occhiogrosso. Kim's endless panoply of on-stage accomplishments brought him an off-Broadway Obie Award for "Sustained Excellence of Performance" in theatrical work. Unsurprisingly, Kim's Hollywood assignments (which began in 1994, after a 20-year stint focusing exclusively on the theater) represented several steps down in terms of sophistication and, as indicated, often typecast him in stock ethnic roles in martial arts or fantasy films. Credits included the epic Anna and the King (1999), the effects-laden action opus The Matrix Reloaded (2003), and the CG-animated action comedy Kung Fu Panda (2008).

Abrams show Fringe. Additionally, Noble has directed over 80 stage plays both in the United States and in his home country of Australia.
