Domhnall Gleeson (Actor)

Trivia: In 2007, appeared in stage productions of a Hugh Leonard adaptation of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations; and a revival of David Mamet's American Buffalo, which earned him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Irish Times Irish Theatre Awards. Has written and directed several short films, including What Will Survive of Us (2009) and Noreen (2010); brother Brian was in both, and father, Brendan, was in the latter. Named one of 2011's Shooting Stars at the Berlin International Film Festival. Played Bill Weasley in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 1 (2010) and Part 2 (2011); father, Brendan, was also in Part 1 as Alastor Moody. At Irish Film & Television Awards in 2011, won for Actor in a Lead Role, playing musician-activist Bob Geldof in the TV biopic When Harvey Met Bob (2010), as well as the Rising Star Award; and in 2013 won for Supporting Actor in Anna Karenina (2012).

Oscar Isaac (Actor)

Trivia: After his portrayal of Joseph, the father of Jesus, in New Line Cinema's holiday release The Nativity Story (2006), Guatemalan actor Oscar Isaac also appeared in Scott Z. Burns' made-for-HBO crime thriller The Half Life of Timofey Berezin (2007). His career would kick into high gear after taking a small role as an interpreter in Guerilla (2008), a biopic of Che Guevara. In 2009, Isaac's role as José Ramos-Horta in the drama Balibo earned in an award for Best Supporting Actor from the Australian Film Institute. He co-starred with Rachel Weisz in award-winning director Alejandro Amenábar's Agora (2009), a historical drama in which the actor played the student of a female mathematician in the late 4th century. Isaac portrayed King John in director Ridley Scott's 2010 retelling of Robin Hood, and went on to co-star with Albert Brooks and Ryan Gosling in the thriller Drive (2011).

Alicia Vikander (Actor)

Trivia: Inspired to become a dancer after seeing a Nutcracker performance at age five. Appeared in the Swedish musical Kristina From Duvemala, written by former ABBA member Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, for three years during the show's original run when she was seven years old. Shared an apartment with longtime friend Caroline Hjelt of the Swedish electro duo Icona Pop after graduating from ballet school and relocating to London. Enrolled in law school after being rejected from the Royal Academy of Stockholm acting academy twice. She won her first leading role in the Swedish film Pure just before her first semester began. Pressured to wear sunblock early in her career to appear more Scandinavian because, despite her Swedish-Finnish ancestry, she has brown eyes and hair and golden skin. With the Gothenburg Opera, appeared in The Sound of Music and Les Misérables. Won the Rising Star Award at the 2010 Stockholm Film Festival. Won the role of Danish Queen Caroline Mathilde in A Royal Affair (2012) without knowing any Danish. Used her ballet training to inform her performance as a gynoid in Ex Machina, giving the robot Ava a slightly imperfect gait to represent her desire to be human. Signed as the new face of Louis Vuitton in 2015.

Sonoya Mizuno (Actor)

Trivia: Performed with a number of professional ballet companies after leaving the Royal Ballet School, including Semperoper Ballet, Ballet Ireland, and the New English Ballet Theatre. Worked as a model at the age of 20. Performed as part of Arthur Pita's The World's Greatest Show in 2014. Made her big screen debut as Kyoko in 2015 sci-fi thriller Ex Machina. Is an ambassador for Shiseido makeup. Made her television debut in 2018, with Netflix's Maniac.
