Born out of the Dayton, Ohio region, Honor Flight has taken more than 300,000 military veterans to Washington, D.C., at no cost to see the memorials dedicated to them. There are now 130 hubs across the country taking World War II, Vietnam and Korean war veterans on the journey, including the original hub in Dayton. In this half-hour special, we look back on this program's history and take you on two trips showcasing the joyous and emotional impact these trips have veterans and their families.
