Washington native Cam Gigandet is perhaps best known as the mysterious Kevin Volchok on the popular nighttime soap The O.C.. Like a lot of young actors, he started his career making small appearances on popular TV shows like CSI, but by 2005, the 23 year old had scored the recurring role that would make him famous, and he quickly became a well-known face to thousands of fans. When his role on the show ended, Gigandet moved on to films like 2008's Never Back Down, but his next major career move wouldn't come until later that year with the movie Twilight. A film adaptation of a wildly popular series of young-adult novels, the movie showcased Gigandet's dark charm with the role of James, a beautiful but villainous vampire. In 2010 he was cast in the musical Burlesque and took a part in the sleeper hit Easy A. The next year he appeared in Trespass and The Roommate. In 2014, he returned to TV in the short-lived series Reckless.

Was a competitive skater for 13 years and as a high-school senior took part in the pregame shows for the Detroit Red Wings ice hockey team. Made her TV debut in 2003 on the ABC daytime drama All My Children. Following a whirlwind romance after meeting on the set of the film Prom Night, married her second husband, actor Johnathon Schaech, but the couple separated just a month after their Fourth of July nuptials. Went to high school with Jennifer Garner, and the two later appeared in the 1996 made-for-TV movie Harvest of Fire. Studied philosophy and linguistics in college, but got hooked on acting during his last semester at Brown after a friend suggested he audition for a play, even though he had no previous experience. Moved to New York City after college in 1993, and his persistence paid off with a major part in a 1998 revival of Eugene O'Neill's Ah, Wilderness! The role earned him a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Play, an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for Best Actor in a Play, a Theatre World Award and a Clarence Derwent Award for Most Promising Male. A scene from the first season of True Blood where his character runs naked through the woods was shot at Lake Bistineau in Louisiana, on land that used to be owned by a distant relative of Trammell's. His mother Betsy Trammell (née Foote) is a distant relative of deceased historian Shelby Foote. Became a father when girlfriend Missy Yager gave birth to twin boys on August 9, 2011.
