This documentary focuses on Canadian Gaetan Dugas, an openly gay former flight attendant and one of the first publicly known person to be diagnosed of AIDS. His willingness to help researchers trace the origin of the disease by giving blood samples and naming 72 men he slept with for contact tracing, results in him being demonized by the media and wrongfully identified as AIDS' "Patient Zero".
