Her first major film role was in Kasi Lemmons' gently observed, well-received ensemble drama Eve's Bayou (1997). Good followed it up with such projects as the romantic comedy Deliver Us From Eva (2002), the teen dance film You Got Served (2004), and the post-noir mystery Brick (2005). In 2007, Good signed for a supporting role in the Mike Myers comedy The Love Guru (2008). Though that film was an infamous turkey, she continued to find work in projects such as 35 & Ticking (which she co-produced), Jumping the Broom, and the sleeper box office hit Think Like a Man, as well as the drama The Obama Effect.

Hodge (the brother of actor Aldis Hodge) debuted in the early 2000s, signing for one of his first jobs with a supporting role in Victor Nuñez's fine, overlooked ensemble drama Coastlines (2002), and at around the same time made guest appearances on such series as Angel and Touched By an Angel. In 2004, he appeared on the critically praised but short-lived series drama Jack & Bobby; he then tackled roles in the telemovie Fighting the Odds: The Marilyn Gambrell Story (2005) and the teen drama Debating Robert Lee (2006).

In 2002, she was cast in the recurring role of Gayle Noland on the crime drama The District. Around the same time, she took on the role of Big Dee Thorn on the comedy series Half and Half, which she'd stay with for the next four years. Kyle Schmid (Actor) .. Max
Born: August 03, 1984
Birthplace: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Trivia: With looks that suggested magazine-cover finesse and massive heartthrob potential, blue-eyed and square-jawed Canadian actor Kyle Schmid did indeed begin his career as a much-sought-after print model. He then made the short leap into filmed work, first with commercial advertisements, then with fictional narratives. Born August 24, 1984, in Mississauga, Ontario, Schmid first reached audiences during his teenage years, with appearances in such productions as the direct-to-video family drama Alley Cats Strike! (2000) and What Girls Learn (2001). After a small role as Scott in the Vin Diesel family comedy The Pacifier, and a bit part in the female buddy film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants that same year, Schmid received fourth billing (his highest up through that time) as Max, in the quirky, gender-bending teen sex comedy Zerophilia. Schmid achieved much higher billing and broader exposure, however, when he scored one of the central roles in the sci-fi horror series Blood Ties, which premiered in 2007. In that program, Schmid played Henry Fitzroy, a 450-year-old vampire who strikes up a romance with a sexy female private eye.
