Maurice Ronet (Actor)
Born: April 13, 1927
Died: March 14, 1983
Birthplace: Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, France
Trivia: The son of professional actors, French film star Maurice Ronet studied at the Paris Conservatoire, where one of his mentors was Jean-Louis Barrault. On the stage from age 20, Ronet made his first film, Rendezvous de Juliet, in 1949. A popular leading man of the 1950s and 1960s, Ronet was a particular favorite of such influential directors as Louis Malle and Claude Chabrol. He turned director himself for two films, Le Voleur de Tibidabo (1964) and Bartleby (1977). Maurice Ronet was the husband of Josephine Chaplin, the youngest daughter of the celebrated Charlie.
Germán Cobos (Actor)
Born: July 07, 1927
Sara Montiel (Actor)
Amedeo Nazzari (Actor)
Born: December 10, 1907
Died: November 07, 1979
Trivia: Italian leading man Amedeo Nazzari entered films in 1935, hitting his stride three years later as the title character in Luciano Serra, Pilot. At his peak, he made up to five films per year, few of which lost money. He gently chided his virile, romantic screen image as the self-absorbed movie star in Fellini's Nights of Cabiria (1957). Few of Nazzari's Italian-starring vehicles were widely distributed in the U.S., though he was a familiar character actor in such international productions as The Best of Enemies (1961) and The Valachi Papers (1972); he also occasionally functioned as a producer and screenwriter. Amedeo Nazzari was the father of actress Evalina Nazzari.
