Trivia: A graduate of the Juilliard School, Viola Davis built an exceptional background in theater productions and has continued to perform on-stage throughout her television and film career. Making her feature-film debut in 1996 as a nurse in The Substance of Fire, she followed that up with several TV movies and guest-star appearances on dramatic series like Law & Order and NYPD Blue. Trivia: Was an aspiring singer/song-writer before turning to acting. Took part in several singing competitions as a teenager including Urban Voice, where she was a finalist in 2001. Five years later she made it to the final of UK Unsigned, where she won the singer/songwriter competition. Had just ten weeks to get into Olympic standard shape to play a top athlete in 2011 movie, Fast Girls and worked out for at least four hours daily. In 2015 appeared in the first stage version of Willy Russell's play Educating Rita that used black actors and took on the title role of Rita opposite actor Lenny Henry.

Trivia: Made his acting debut as a leopard at his primary school in Peckham, London, at age 5. Studied at the Identity School in London. Appeared in the National Theatre's production of Six Parties in 2009 and played in two productions at the Tricycle Theatre, Category B and Seize of the Day.
