Tom Sandoval returns to Los Angeles just in time for his birthday. His plans hit a snag, however, when Ariana learns he wants to throw a party in their shared home. Scheana attempts to reinvigorate her music career, but must first work through her anxiety about leaving Summer Moon with a nanny. Schwartz confronts Sandoval for abandoning him to deal with their business alone. James decides to face his former friend and things quickly go south when Sandoval brings up a painful memory from the past
