The film was completed in 1992 when Paquin was nine. She kept busy for the next year or so in a series of American TV ads for a computer company, portraying an androgynous "young DaVinci" type. Trivia: Canadian-born Shenae Grimes established herself as an actress midway through high school, and quickly racked up a long series of teen and young adult roles in prime-time dramas. Grimes is perhaps best known for her ongoing performance as Darcy Edwards on the adolescent soaper Degrassi: The Next Generation -- a spin-off of the legendary Degrassi High. In 2011 she appeared in the horror sequel Scream 4.

Trivia: Born in 1989, Aimee Teegarden got started in acting as a teenager, appearing on episodes of Disney Channel shows like Hannah Montana and Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. In 2006, she was cast in the TV series Friday Night Lights, a show based on the film of the same name, following the exploits of the people in a small town in Texas, for whom the high-school football team is one of the most important things in life. After debuting in 1988's License to Drive, which featured the two Coreys (Haim and Feldman) and little else, Graham worked in relative obscurity for years before hitting it big in a string of successful films, including Swingers, Boogie Nights, and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Originally hailing from the Midwest, Graham was born in Milwaukee, WI, on January 29, 1970. The elder of two girls (younger sister Aimee is also an actress), Graham led a fairly itinerant childhood thanks to her father's job with the F.B.I. A quiet, unpopular girl, by her own account, Graham became interested in acting at a young age. She had her first role, as Dorothy, in a school production of The Wizard of Oz and remained active in the theater throughout high school, winning the title of Most Talented from her peers. Trivia: The son of British actor Wilfred Hyde-White, Alex Hyde-White began his own career in his teens, appearing briefly in Captain America (1979). What might have been his breakthrough role in Roger Corman's Fantastic Four (1994) fizzled when, for legal reasons, the film was completely withdrawn from view. Trivia: The Wisconsin-born and educated David Zucker, with his brother, Jerry, and Jim Abrahams, worked with the improvisational Kentucky Fried Theater in Madison, WI, before coming to movies in 1977 with Kentucky Fried Movie, a dazzlingly funny satire of movies, television, and popular culture. Written, produced, and directed by the trio, Kentucky Fried Movie became an unexpected success. They followed this up three years later with the monster hit Airplane!, a brutally funny take-off of disaster movies that not only brought an end to that genre, but made the trio into one of the hottest teams in screen comedy. Top Secret! (1984) wasn't nearly as successful, although it did make a profit. However, Ruthless People (1986) was a hit. During the early '80s, the Zuckers were responsible for a short-lived cop show parody called Police Squad, starring Leslie Nielsen, a one-time dramatic film actor who had emerged as a comedy star in Airplane! The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad (1988) was borne from the Police Squad parody and proved a monster hit; this was followed by Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear (1991) and Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult (1994).
