North Carolina native Mary Elizabeth Winstead began training as a ballet dancer as a child, and later studied at Joffrey Ballet School in Chicago. She also studied singing and acting intensively and pursued a successful career on Broadway, appearing in productions like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Eventually transitioning to the screen, Winstead became an audience favorite when she made a handful of appearances on the soap opera Passions in 1999. She would go on to appear in movies like 2005's Sky High and Final Destination 3, before scoring the role of Lee -- the girl whose friends use her as collateral in order to drive a mint Dodge Charger -- in 2007's Death Proof, part of the double-feature Grindhouse. She played Lucy in Live Free or Die Hard, before taking on the role of Ramona V. Flowers in the quirky 2010 graphic novel adaptation Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

Canadian-born Cory Monteith began his acting career in his home country, appearing in projects filmed in Vancouver, such as the series Stargate Atlantis. He eventually began snagging bigger roles, including the recurring character of Charlie on the series Kyle XY, and relocated to California. In 2009, Monteith was cast in a starring role on the Fox series Glee, a show about a down-and-out high school glee club. He became one of the breakout stars on the show and parlayed that into a supporting part in Monte Carlo, and of course appeared in the Glee 3D concert film. Tragically, Monteith died of a drug overdose in July of 2013. He was 31.

A native of Yellow Knife, Northwest Territories, clean-cut Canadian actor Dustin Milligan gamely established himself as a Hollywood presence during the mid- to late 2000s. As one interested in drama from a tender age, Milligan initially moved to Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada's premier film community), where he signed with the agency Lucas Talent; by 2004, however, he transitioned to Hollywood and began signing for bit parts in projects including the feature Perfect Romance and the docudrama telemovie Amber Frey: Witness for the Prosecution (based on the infamous Scott Peterson homicide case). Milligan maintained a much higher profile as Henry Rader, the son of framed and threatened Washington, D.C., district attorney Paul Rader (Donnie Wahlberg) on the CW network's short-lived thriller series Runaway (2006); following a small supporting role in director Jon Kasdan's feature In the Land of Women (2007), Milligan signed on to play Southern California high school student Ethan Ward in the Beverly Hills 90210 spinoff series 90210 (2008). In the years to come, Milligan would find ongoing success in movies like Extract, Repeaters, and The Campaign.
