Trivia: Has a French mother and speaks fluent French herself. Lived with her grandparents for a period of time after her parents divorced. Put together a demo disc, produced by then-boyfriend Eric Clapton, but quickly decided to not pursue a career as a solo artist. Briefly worked at the Moulin Rouge in Paris. Appeared in Kylie Minogue's 1991 music video "Word is Out." Her first job in television was as a presenter for MTV in 1992. Appearing on Who Do You Think You Are? in 2009, she learned that one ancestor had been a French Prefect of Police and another a stone mason who had worked on Windsor Castle. Raised over £2 million for Sports Relief charity by running, swimming and cycling across the United Kingdom for seven days in 2014.
