Tom tries to teach a younger cat how to catch a mouse, but the youngster can't focus. When Tom finally tells the young cat to do a test run by catching Jerry, the little one sets off. But, despite Tom's teachings, Jerry sees that the young cat likes mice and takes advantage of this.
