California condors navigate threats like wildfires, lead poisoning, and pesticide DDT. Filmed in Big Sur and Pinnacles National Park, it portrays the struggles of Traveler (Red 71), who overcomes lead poisoning while her mate, Shadow (Yellow 9), raises their chick.
