Episode 2 - PO'ed PythonMikka, an 18-foot reticulated python, needs her lungs checked for pneumonia. Coco the Dalmatian needs surgery to remove a cyst that is hampering her spinal function. The Houston Zoo rushes in with a 31-year-old blue-billed curassow with a broken leg. The parents of Daphne, an 11-year-old Labrador mix, face a tough decision and Dr. Beale performs a total hip replacement on Bear, a German shepherd. |
Episode 3 - Heroic MeasuresDamon, a rescue dog found bleeding and missing a paw, is a candidate for an artificial limb. Lucy, a dachshund, is rushed to the ICU with a crushed jaw and Emma, a French bulldog, is brought to the neurology department with paralyzed legs. Two sea turtles face a rash of tumors all over their bodies. Darth Rachel, a Labrador retriever, is brought to GCVS because of her labored breathing. |
Episode 4 - Code RedSpecialists Danielle Inman and Dr. Sue Chen treat animals for issues related to neglect and mismanagement. Cha Cha Larue, a 5-year-old Chinese crested, gets critical surgery on her back leg. Dr. Chanda Miles works on a 7-year-old cat Noir’s crushed jaw. Hulk, a 10-year-old German shepherd, gets a last-chance back surgery. Sugar Bear, a coatimundi, needs the end of his tail amputated. |
Episode 5 - Chaos in the OrAt the Houston Zoo, a 17-year-old chimpanzee named Chaos, gets two root canals from Dr. Chanda Miles. There’s a limited amount of time that Chaos can be under, so Dr. Miles barely makes it in under the wire. Meanwhile, a seven-year-old mutt named Rambo is rushed in after being hit by a mail truck. Then, a six-year-old red kangaroo comes in with an abscess on his tail. |
Episode 6 - Toy TraumaGCVS treats Aries, a big horn ram with a badly injured front leg. Dr. Beale performs a tricky surgery to release the tendons in Aries’ leg to allow for movement. Meanwhile, a Catahoula Cur named Chloe has an 8-inch long cat toy surgically removed, and Kiki, a cockatoo, needs surgery to stop her bleeding. Then, a six-year-old police dog named Ronny gets a crown to repair his fractured tooth. |
