Episode 2 - The Virgin LonnieGeorgie and John are having trouble resuming marital relations, mainly because there are misunderstandings. Lonnie and his girlfriend are also having troubles, mainly due to his inexperience with women. They give him conflicting advice. |
Episode 3 - It's My Party and I'll Cry if I Want ToGeorgie is organizing a surprise birthday party for John, which he doesn't want. When he finds out, John explains why he doesn't want a party, but she throws one for him, with lots of people from his past who succeed in embarrassing him. |
Episode 4 - The Sock-Her BoysJohn and Georgie are looking after a girls soccer team. Georgie gets riled when the coach of a boys soccer team thinks that girls shouldn't be playing, she makes a bet that her team of girls will beat the boys team. |
Episode 5 - Birth of a DonationAn old friend of Billy Bob's is coming to stay but is disbelieving when Georgie says that his friend is gay. Billy Bob finds out she was right. Madeline, seeing how happy Georgie is, decides to have a baby using artificial insemination. |
Episode 6 - Fat Like MeAn editor from Cosmo has asked Georgie to go undercover in a fat suit to see what it is like to be an obese person. She also wants to use Madeline's experiences as a subject for her story, which Madeleine agrees to. |
Episode 7 - Born to DanceElliot has started ballet lessons and John is worried about it, thinking it is unmanly. Carson Lee raises a lamb to raise money. She becomes upset when she learns that it is going to be killed for food and wants her dad to buy it back. |
Episode 8 - Pros and CondomsThe big controversial issue at the local school is whether students should have access to condoms at school. John and Georgie have opposite views. The children have been given the responsibility of looking after their neighbor's rabbit. |
Episode 9 - The Perfect ChristmasIt's Christmas time in the Hartman household. Georgie is trying to have a traditional Christmas and she also tries to instil a spirit of giving in the family. However, when things go wrong, tempers get frayed and John is injured. |
Episode 10 - Help WantedLonnie becomes the town gossip when his newspaper column, Little Big Mouth, becomes successful. Billy Bob is uncomfortable with the new assistant, especially when he thinks he sees her on "Hard Copy" and that she is wanted for murder. |
Episode 11 - Mrs. Hartman, Mrs. HartmanJohn's first wife, Diandra, who left him for their female marriage counsellor, wants to come for a stay. John's not happy with the idea of her visit but Georgie is quite happy. This completely changes when Diandra gets there. |
Episode 12 - Group TherapyGeorgie confides to Madeline that she feels that John is too good and that he is too ready to agree with what she says. Madeline suggests that all the office should have a weekly group therapy session to air any issues that concern them. |
Episode 13 - John and Georgie's Not-So-Excellent AdventureJohn is tired with work and Billy Bob gives him and Georgie a luxury weekend in New York to relax. When they get there, a number of Georgie's friends from her past call in. Lonnie's mother starts subscribing readers to the Beacon. |
Episode 14 - The OutsiderGeorgie is having trouble fitting in with the town and still feels she is an outsider. When she hears that the local council plans to shut the library, she chains herself to the library door until they reopen it. |
