Episode 1 - Season 1, Episode 1: Pilot

Emma is surprised when Henry finds her in Boston and she diligently returns him to his mother, Regina. Worried about Henry’s unhappiness, Emma decides to spend the week in Storybrooke. In the fairy tale world, the Evil Queen promises to unleash her curse but Snow White is determined to guarantee the safety of her baby.

Emma's life turns upside down when she is visited by Henry, the 10-year-old child she long ago gave up for adoption; Emma brings Henry back to his foster mother in a strange town called Storybrooke.

After another disappointing date, Mary Margaret wonders if there is such a thing as true love. When Henry, with the help of Emma, encourages Mary Margaret to read to “John Doe” to help him remember, she agrees. When John Doe briefly awakens and touches her, Mary Margaret begins to feel a closeness to him. Meanwhile, in Fairy Tale Land, a feisty Snow White ambushes Prince Charming’s carriage, frightening his fiancée. Prince Charming chases and catches Snow White and despite their initial dislike of each other, it’s obvious there is also an undeniable connection. Back in Storybrooke, John Doe disappears and is frantically searched for by Sheriff Graham, Emma and Mary Margaret. He is found and returned to the hospital where Regina introduces John Doe’s wife, Kathryn. Mary Margaret is devastated, but neither Henry or Emma believe everything is as it seems.
Episode 4 - Season 1, Episode 4: The Price of Gold

After making a deal with Rumplestiltskin exchanging her poor lifestyle for one filled with riches and true love, Cinderella finds out on her wedding day that Rumplestiltskin wants to take her first-born child as a reward for her new life. Meanwhile, Emma is asked to find a pregnant, teenage Ashley (Cinderella’s counterpart in Storybrooke) who has fled town knowing that Mr. Gold is going to take her baby after it’s born.

Emma tries to help a pregnant woman get away from Mr. Gold; Cinderella makes a deal with Rumplestiltskin.

Sheriff Graham makes Emma a deputy; a sinkhole appears at the edge of town; in fairytale world, Jiminy wants to leave the family business.

Emma becomes Deputy of Storybrooke and immediately an abandoned mine collapses. Regina wants to immediately fill it and pave it, but Henry is convinced she is hiding something in the mine. The story of Jiminy Cricket is told in Fairy Tale Land and how he became known as the conscience. After being threatened by Regina, Archie intensifies his efforts to make Henry stop believing everyone is a fairy tale character. But when he is trapped in the mine after chasing after Henry, Archie begins to believe Henry when he tells Archie he is struggling with his conscience just like Jiminy Cricket did. Meanwhile, both David and Mary Margaret realize they have a connection, but Mary Margaret knows she can’t hurt Kathryn, David’s wife.
Episode 6 - The Shepherd

David must choose between Kathryn and Mary Margaret, with whom he's fallen deeply in love; Sheriff Graham is caught in a lie; Prince Charming's destiny is altered.

David realizes he has feelings for Mary Margaret that he can’t deny, despite Kathryn’s efforts to help him remember their life together. Mary Margaret quits her hospital job to avoid seeing David. But when David leaves Kathryn and begs Mary Margaret to meet him, she decides to follow her heart. But Regina steps in and manipulates David so that he remembers his life with Kathryn. Meanwhile, in Fairy Tale Land, the story of Prince Charming and his twin brother, the Shepherd, is told. The Shepherd finds himself in the unwanted position of pretending to be his brother so that his father’s kingdom can be saved with the help of King Midas. The Shepherd/Prince Charming realizes he must also marry Midas’ spoiled daughter Abigail/Regal Blonde.
Episode 7 - Season 1, Episode 7: The Heart is a Lonely Hunter

Sheriff Graham begins to have dreams and visions which transition into him remembering his past in Fairy Tale Land, which angers Regina. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land, the Evil Queen attempts to find a heartless assassin to murder Snow White.

In Fairy Tale Land, the Evil Queen sends Hansel and Gretel into the Blind Witch’s house to fetch something for her, and when they succeed, she offers them a life of wealth and riches. Meanwhile, in Storybrooke, when Emma discovers two children who don’t have parents, she commits to finding their father so they won’t be separated and put into foster care like she was at their age. Henry reiterates to Emma that no one ever comes into or exits Storybrooke (except for her), so when a stranger arrives asking for a place to stay, Henry, Emma and Regina all find it suspicious.

Emma tries to save two children from the foster system by finding their birth father; the evil queen has Hansel and Gretel steal an artifact from a blind witch.

Meanwhile, back in the Fairy Tale Land, Prince Phillip awakens his sleeping beauty, Aurora, but discovers that he and his traveling companion, Mulan, will soon have to face a deadly foe... the Wraith.

However when they reach the lake, they're presented with a dilemma. Meanwhile, in Storybrooke, Henry tries to talk Jefferson into reuniting with his daughter.

Belle’s disgust over Mr. Gold’s continuing thirst for power comes to a head, and she threatens to leave him if he can’t change his evil ways. Meanwhile, back in Fairy Tale Land, Rumplestiltskin attempts to save his wife, Milah, from being kidnapped by a band of cutthroat pirates.

Regina continues to try and stop using her magic in an attempt to win back Henry’s affections, and she begins seeing what she believes is a ghost from her past. When Mary Margaret and Emma discover a lone survivor from an ogre massacre, Emma begins to question whether or not he’s telling the truth. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was, Regina finds herself failing at learning the dark arts from Rumplestiltskin because something from her past is preventing her from using her magic for evil. She attempts to visit a mysterious doctor who claims he can bring the deceased back to life in order to settle some unfinished emotions from her past.

With the hopes of finding a magical compass that could help her and Mary Margaret get back to Storybrooke, Emma takes a journey with a not-too-trustworthy Captain Hook up a treacherous beanstalk in an attempt to steal the item from a murderous giant. Meanwhile, Emma’s past is revealed to be anything but magical when she meets up with a fellow thief who wants to make an honest woman out of her.

Ruby’s fear about turning into a wolf during the first curse-free Storybrooke full moon is confirmed when one of the town’s residents is viciously murdered, and Ruby is the prime suspect. Spencer threatens to defeat David in front of the entire town and prove that he’s not fit to run the town as sheriff. Leroy stumbles upon some treasure in the Storybrooke mine that could help bring Mary Margaret and Emma back into our world. Meanwhile, in Fairy Tale Land, Red Riding Hood finds a kindred spirit in Anita, a charismatic and mysterious leader of a pack of humans who, like Red, turn out to be wolves.

Cora does everything in her power to steal the compass away from Mary Margaret and Emma in her quest to find the entrance to Storybrooke. Meanwhile, in order to protect Henry from further danger, Regina and Mr. Gold must put David’s life in jeopardy in an attempt to put him in contact with Mary Margaret across the lands to give her vital information that could help her and Emma return through the portal back to Storybrooke.

Cora and Hook face off with Mary Margaret and Emma in a race to secure the compass, which will point its holder to the portal into Storybrooke. But back on the other side, Regina and Mr. Gold, desperate to keep Cora out, put a plan into action that would kill anyone entering the portal – placing Mary Margaret’s and Emma’s lives in danger as well. Meanwhile, back in Fairytale Land, Captain Hook travels to Wonderland and meets up with a vengeful Queen of Hearts.

Mr. Gold finds an unwilling test subject to see if a spell he has concocted will allow him to cross the border of Storybrooke -- without losing his memory -- and go in search of his son, Bae; Belle stumbles upon a vengeful Hook in the Storybrooke harbor whose main goal is to eradicate Rumplestiltskin; and Mary Margaret and David go house hunting in search of a bigger place to live. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Belle meets Mulan as the two set out to slay a fearsome beast called the Yaoguai, who has been ravaging the land.

Dr. Whale is tasked with mending Hook’s wounds and performing surgery on the stranger whose car crashed upon entering Storybrooke. But some of the townspeople fear that the stranger may have seen magic -- which could expose their true identities to the world -- and think that leaving him to die would be the best solution. Meanwhile, as Mr. Gold tries to reunite with a despondent Belle, Cora attempts to reunite with daughter Regina; and in the land that was, Victor desperately wants to prove to his disapproving father that he can, indeed, bring back the dead.

Kidnapped and brought to Storybrooke by Cora, the Giant unleashes his vengeance on the town when a case of mistaken identity leads him to try and settle an old score with David; Mr. Gold, accompanied by Emma and Henry, attempts to depart Storybrooke – hoping to keep his memory intact when he crosses the town line – and heads to the airport in search of his son Bae; and Greg questions Belle as to what she saw on the night of his car accident. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was and against his brothers’ wishes, Anton, the Giant, climbs down the beanstalk and attempts to befriend some humans – whose intentions may not be so noble.

While Mr. Gold, Emma and Henry go in search of Gold’s son Bae in New York, Cora, Regina and Hook attempt to track down one of Rumplestiltskin’s most treasured possessions. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Rumplestiltskin realizes his destiny while fighting in the Ogres War.

Upon discovering Cora and Regina’s plan to find and take possession of Rumplestiltskin’s dagger, Mary Margaret, with the aid of David and Mother Superior, makes it her mission to find it first; and while Mr. Gold continues his quest in New York to reunite with son Bae, Hook devises a plan to rid himself of a crocodile. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, the Blue Fairy offers Snow White an unconventional enchantment that could help save her dying mother, Queen Eva.
Episode 38 - Season 2, Episode 16: The Miller’s Daughter

Cora’s desire to rid herself of Rumplestiltskin in order to take his place as The Dark One takes one step closer to becoming reality as she and Regina try to overpower a dying Mr. Gold, and Mary Margaret is once again tempted by dark magic. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Rumplestiltskin agrees to offer his services to a younger Cora – for a price – when the king calls her bluff and orders her to actually follow through on her boast of being able to spin straw into gold.
Episode 39 - Season 2, Episode 17: Welcome to Storybrooke

Emma, David and Mr. Gold must protect Mary Margaret against Regina, who is out for revenge and has made it her mission to kill Mary; and Henry, fed up with all of the feuding, devises a plan to put an end to magic. Meanwhile, Regina discovers that a father and son have somehow found their way into her allegedly undetectable town as she and the fairytale characters deal with the effects of the newly cast curse 28 years prior.
Episode 40 - Season 2, Episode 18: Selfless, Brave and True

While Mary Margaret goes off on her own in an attempt to come to grips with what she did to Cora and how her deed has affected her, she stumbles upon August, who has hidden himself away from the others and is completely made of wood -- ashamed at the actions he has taken in life; and Emma is shocked when Neal invites his fiancée, Tamara, to come to Storybrooke. Meanwhile, before the curse was cast, August is introduced to a man of magic who may be able to prevent him from turning back into wood -- but at a steep price.
Episode 41 - Season 2, Episode 19: Lacey

Mr. Gold enlists the aid of David to help him try to jog Belle’s now cursed memories and get her to love him again; and when it is revealed that the magic beans Anton and the dwarves have been harvesting have begun to grow and could possibly transport everybody home, Emma is torn over whether she would want to live in fairytale land or stay in our world. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Rumplestiltskin forces Belle to accompany him on a hunt to kill a thief, whom she had freed in the name of mercy.
Episode 42 - Season 2, Episode 20: The Evil Queen

With the aid of Hook, Regina attempts to put a plan in motion that will help transport herself and Henry back to Fairytale land. But her plan revolves around a fail-safe that was planted within the curse, which if triggered could wipe Storybrooke off the map – and kill all of its inhabitants; and Emma’s suspicions about Tamara grow. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, the Evil Queen asks Rumplestiltskin to transform her into an unrecognizable peasant in order to kill an unsuspecting Snow White, with the twisted aim of earning the love and respect of her subjects.
Episode 43 - Season 2, Episode 21: Second Star to the Right

Emma, Mary Margaret and David go in search of Regina when they discover that she – along with some magic beans – have gone missing. But against Neal’s protests, Emma still believes that Tamara had something to do with Regina’s disappearance; and Mr. Gold contemplates telling Lacey the truth about his ability to conjure magic. Meanwhile, after Rumplestiltskin abandons his son and lets him travel alone through a portal, young Bae finds himself back in 19th century London and is taken in by the Darling family -- befriending their daughter Wendy.
Episode 44 - Season 2, Episode 22: And Straight on ‘til Morning

The inhabitants of Storybrooke brace themselves for the end when Greg and Tamara detonate the trigger Regina had placed within the curse, with the annihilation of the town and its residents imminent; and Mr. Gold mourns the loss of his son, Bae/Neal. Meanwhile, back in Neverland of the past, Hook discovers his connection to a young Bae after he rescues him from the sea and soon realizes that the Lost Boys are in hot pursuit of the boy.
Episode 45 - Season 3, Episode 1: The Heart of the Truest Believer

As Emma, Mary Margaret, David, Regina, Mr. Gold, and Hook enter Neverland to search for a kidnapped Henry, they’re greeted by a school of not-too-friendly mermaids who threaten to end their search before it begins; Henry finds himself on the run from the Lost Boys with another escapee from Peter Pan’s encampment; and Neal, recovering from his wounds, travels through the Enchanted Forest with Mulan in an attempt to learn the fates of Emma and Henry.

While Emma, Mary Margaret, David, Regina and Hook continue their search for Henry in Neverland, Peter Pan appears before a startled Emma and offers her a map that will reveal her son’s whereabouts. But the only way to make the map appear is for Emma to stop denying who she really is and come to grips with her true feelings about her identity – and Mr. Gold receives some unexpected advice from a friend that could lead him to understand his life’s journey while in Neverland. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was, when the Evil Queen presents Snow White with an offer to live her life with Charming in peace – with the caveat that she give up her claim to the throne – Charming makes it his mission to ensure that Snow doesn’t take the offer.
Episode 47 - Season 3, Episode 3: Quite a Common Fairy

In their continuing quest to find Peter Pan's hideout and save Henry, Hook suggests tracking down Tinker Bell in the hope that she will lead them straight to his camp. Pan reveals to Henry why he has brought him to Neverland and in the Enchanted Forest, Neal has a plan that could transport him to Emma, but it would involve using one of Robin Hood's most precious possessions. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was, Tinker Bell offers to help Regina improve her life.
Episode 48 - Season 3, Episode 4: Nasty Habits

Mr. Gold makes a decision to confront Pan, but will he go there to save Henry or give in to the prophecy that the boy will be his undoing? Neal finds himself back in Neverland and in the custody of one of Pan’s most loyal Lost Boys. And David struggles for his life as the poison continues to take its toll on him. Regina reluctantly teams up with Emma to search for the Snow Queen after Sidney discovers her whereabouts and agrees to lead her to the location. With Belle babysitting baby Neal, a nervous Mary Margaret and David prepare for their first date night away and find themselves on a mission to track down Will Scarlet, who has escaped from the town jail, and Elsa sees Anna in the Storybrooke woods. Meanwhile, back in the past, young Emma finds herself a kindred spirit when she befriends a girl who, like her, is a runaway orphan.

The race is on to track down the elusive Snow Queen, who was once a foster mother to a young Emma, in order to discover what her ultimate end game is for Elsa and the residents of Storybrooke, and unaware that she does not possess the real blade that controls The Dark One, Belle attempts to use it to get her husband to show her where the Snow Queen is hiding. Back in the past, Belle travels to Arendelle and, with Anna’s help, seeks out Grand Pabbie to help her regain her lost memories in order to discover the fate of her mother.

The Snow Queen uses her prior knowledge of Emma to try to persuade her into thinking that they are more alike than she could possibly imagine. Regina and Robin Hood’s relationship grows increasingly complex and Henry begins his after school job in Gold’s shop while trying to help Regina find a clue to the identity of the author of the storybook. Meanwhile, in Arendelle of the past, we learn about the origin of the Snow Queen and her familial connection to Elsa and Anna as we see her discover her spectacular yet deadly ice powers.

In Arendelle, the Snow Queen tries to pit Elsa and Anna against each other and it proves more difficult than she anticipates. Storybrooke is in a state of chaos with all the residents under the Snow Queen’s Spell of Shattered Sight at each other’s throats. Emma and Elsa race against the clock to free themselves of the ribbons and take down the Snow Queen and her curse. David can only watch when Regina clashes with Mary Margaret in an epic battle. Meanwhile, Gold gathers Belle and Henry as he prepares to leave town forever, and Will Scarlet looks to square his tab with Hook. Kristoff’s thick-headedness leads Anna to a heartwarming discovery.

Hook leverages his complicated history with Ursula to find out what she knows about Gold’s endgame. Gold and the Queens of Darkness torture August for information about the Author as Emma, Mary Margaret and David race to find them. An escapee from Hades' prison informs the heroes that Hook is being held captive, but to rescue Hook they must face a terrifying beast that guards the prison. Mary Margaret searches for an old childhood friend who knows how to defeat the monster.
Episode 103 - Season 5, Episode 14: Devil’s Due

Hades threatens to condemn Hook to the River of Lost Souls after Hook refuses to choose which three of his friends will have to remain in the Underworld. Meanwhile, Gold is eager to help Emma, Snow, David, Regina, Robin, and Henry find Hook so he can return home to Belle, but in order to do so he must find his ex-wife Milah in the Underworld, and receive her help.

The Heroes continue searching for a way to free everyone from the Underworld. Belle turns to Rumplestiltskin to find a way to protect their child from Hades. Meanwhile, Hades meets with Gaston in the Underworld and encourages him to seek revenge on Rumplestiltskin. In flashbacks, Ruby and Mulan find themselves in Oz, where they meet Dorothy. After the three witness Zelena's return to Oz, they look for a way to defeat her once and for all. However, Dorothy mysteriously disappears, and Ruby's search for her new friend lands her in the Underworld. Reunited with the Heroes, Ruby teams up to continue looking for Dorothy.
Episode 108 - Season 5, Episode 19: Sisters

Hades wants a future with Zelena outside of the Underworld. Regina overhears this and enlists Cora's help to find a way to separate Zelena from Hades. However, Cora reveals a family secret that could change Regina and Zelena's lives forever.
Episode 109 - Season 5, Episode 20: Firebird

Hades turns to the heroes to ask for help with getting Zelena back from Rumplestiltskin and Peter Pan. In return, he offers to take all their names off their tombstones. However, when Hook is still unable to leave, he and Emma must journey into the depths of the Underworld.
Episode 110 - Season 5, Episode 21: Last Rites

Emma, David, Regina, Robin and Henry return to Storybrooke and reunite with Snow, but still have to contend with Hades, who continues to deceive Zelena as he lays out his plan to use the Olympian Crystal to take over the town.
Episode 111 - Season 5, Episode 22: Only You

Regina reels from the death of Robin Hood. When the heroes discover Gold has stolen Hades' Olympian Crystal and tethered all of Storybrooke's magic to it, they set out to stop him. Henry decides he no longer can stand all the pain magic has caused his family, so he goes rogue, with Violet in tow. Meanwhile, Zelena, Snow, David, and Hook attempt to open a portal that will return Merida and the other Storybrooke guests to their homes.
Episode 112 - Season 5, Episode 23: An Untold Story

With the possibility of magic being destroyed and the fate of Storybrooke hanging in the balance, Emma and Regina race to track down Henry before Gold can find him. Regina continues to struggle with her frustrations over her former evil self and, elsewhere, Snow, David, Hook, and Zelena are imprisoned.

The Evil Queen and Hyde continue on their quest to steal Dr. Jekyll’s serum; Snow looks forward to her first day back as a school teacher; and while Emma looks forward to Hook moving in with her, Hook finds himself trying to protect Belle from Mr. Gold, who has made sure she can’t leave the confines of the pirate ship.
