Tuppence meets Miss Marple and together they follow a path of clues that lead them to the village of Farrell St Edmund, where they find a community guarding an array of secrets. |
Episode 3 - The Moving FingerLymstock is a town with more than its share of shameful secrets, a town where even a sudden outbreak of anonymous hate-mail causes only a minor stir. When Mrs Symmington commits suicide as a result of one of the letters, Miss Marple believes that there is more to this case. Was Mrs Symmington murdered? As the letters become even more deadly the village is thrown into turmoil. Someone in the village must be responsible - can anyone be trusted? |
Episode 4 - The Sittaford MysteryHeavy snow is falling in Dartmoor and the shadowy guests in the local hotel decide to take part in a seance in order to amuse themselves. The evening takes on a more sinister edge when the table-turning suggests Trevelyan, an infamous local, is in danger. At Sittaford house Miss Marple finds a death threat sent to Trevelyan. Burnaby, Trevelyan's loyal right hand man, is so concerned for his friend's safety that he wants to check on him. Unfortunately, Trevelyan is staying at the hotel - six miles away. With snow drifts blocking the roads, someone will have to make the journey on foot. |
