Episode 2 - Episode 2Devastated by the news he's to become a father, Smithy goes AWOL. The boys finally track him down, but can he be persuaded to do the right thing?

Episode 3 - Episode 3Stacey feels dejected because she cannot get a job. When Gavin, Stacey and Smithy head for Barry so that Smithy can go for the scan with Nessa, Bryn takes it upon himself to get Smithy into shape at his gym.

Episode 4 - Episode 4Stacey is miserable and homesick because she still hasn't got a job, or her own home. She goes with Gavin to view a potential flat and they're shown round a tiny, dirty studio by over-enthusiastic estate agent Duncan.

Episode 8 - Christmas Special 2008The Barry folk come to Billericay for the holiday. Gavin surprises his mum and Smithy with news of his promotion in the company's new operation, located in Cardiff.
