Season 15 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - S15 EP1 Episode 1

In the opening heat, the first four professional chefs step into the MasterChef kitchen. They must impress in two challenges: the infamous Skills Test and the Signature Menu round.
Episode 2 - S15 EP2 Episode 2

Four more chefs face Skills Tests. Two must butterfly sardines with tomato and olive tapenade, while the others demonstrate their butchery skills as they prepare rose veal kidneys.
Episode 3 - S15 EP3 Episode 3

The first quarter-final sees the strongest five chefs from the first two heats return to battle it out. First up, it's an Invention Test where the chefs must create a brunch dish.
Episode 4 - S15 EP4 Episode 4

The first two chefs make ravioli with a cheese and 'nduja filling, served with an oregano butter emulsion. The other two chefs must fillet a rainbow trout.
Episode 5 - S15 EP5 Episode 5

Four of the country's determined chefs make the journey to the MasterChef kitchen, ready to fight for the coveted title. The first two chefs are set a butchery challenge by Anna.
Episode 6 - S15 EP6 Episode 6

In the second quarter-final, the four chefs must create dishes that showcase different textures. They cook two courses for food writers Leyla Kazim, William Sitwell and Grace Dent.
Episode 7 - S15 EP7 Episode 7

Four more chefs face Skills Tests set by Anna and Marcus. Two must prepare a pork chop with butter bean stew, while the other two cook tempura vegetables with nori seasoning.
Episode 8 - S15 EP8 Episode 8

Four chefs face Skills Tests set by Anna and Marcus. Two must prepare sweet potato gnocchi with hazelnut pesto, while the other two serve up poached apricots with Chantilly cream.
Episode 9 - S15 EP9 Episode 9

The quarter-finals must prepare dishes based around the combination of orange and ginger. Then they cook for food critics Tom Parker Bowles, Tracy MacLeod and Grace Dent.
Episode 10 - S15 EP10 Episode 10

Two chefs are set a Skills Test to fillet a sea bream, steam one portion and serve it with an Asian-style broth and rice. Anna Haugh tests the skills of the other two chefs.
Episode 11 - S15 EP11 Episode 11

It's the final heat, and the last four arrive in the kitchen eager to show they have what it takes. First up is the Skills Test. Marcus asks the first two chefs to prep a pigeon.
Episode 12 - S15 EP12 Episode 12

The judges set an Invention test with a twist: the dessert must be based on a savoury ingredient. The chefs work with cheeses, bacon, vegetables, chilies and herbs.
Episode 13 - S15 EP13 Episode 13

The remaining ten chefs cook off against each other for the first time, all fighting to keep alive their hopes of being crowned MasterChef: the Professionals champion 2022.
Episode 14 - S15 EP14 Episode 14

The semi-finals continue with only the eight best chefs left standing. They are now split into two groups and over the next two nights will strive to secure a place in Finals Week.
Episode 15 - S15 EP15 Episode 15

The semi-finals conclude with the second group of chefs facing two challenges as they try to win a place in Finals Week. Once again, the MasterChef: The Professionals pop-up opens.
Episode 16 - S15 EP16 Episode 16

It's Finals Week, and the six remaining chefs cook off against each other for the chance to cook for their culinary heroes at the Chef's Table event at London's Lanesborough Hotel.
Episode 17 - S15 EP17 Episode 17

Each finalist is asked to create a dish inspired by a place close to their heart. Then, the chefs must cook a dish of their own creation for a dining room full of food critics.
Episode 18 - S15 EP18 Episode 18

After six weeks of fierce competition, only the three best chefs remain. They battle it out for the final time in the most important cook-off of their career.
