Season 10 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - The Serpent's Pupil

Orochimaru agonises in pain at his hideout, now requiring level-ten medications just to sustain his body. Even with excruciating pain Orochimaru is preparing for his transference ritual, and Kabuto can feel Orochimaru's further potential. Meanwhile Sasuke also senses the time is coming when he will have to face his mentor.
Episode 2 - Eye of the Hawk

Orochimaru sheds his old body and transforms into a white serpent. As he attacks Sasuke to obtain his body, Orochimaru remembers the time he found the slough of a white snake in front of his parents' grave. Driven by his desire for the Sharingan, Orochimaru finally robs Sasuke of his freedom.
Episode 3 - Zabuza's Blade

Sasuke has defeated Orochimaru. He then frees Suigetsu, a man trapped inside a water tank, and tells the man to join him. But Suigetsu does not immediately take up Sasuke's offer. Knowing Sasuke was part of the team that defeated Zabuza Momochi, Suigetsu strikes a deal. If he can get Zabuza's blade, then he will join Sasuke.
Episode 4 - Guardian of the Iron Wall

Sasuke and Suigetsu visit the southern hideout to recruit their next member, Karin. Suigetsu is surprised at the hideout's low security level but is told that no prisoners can escape thanks to Karin's abilities. What is Karin's power that allows her to maintain order and an iron defense?
Episode 5 - Jugo of the Northern Hideout

Sasuke and his team head for the northern hideout to recruit their next member, Jugo. On the way, Karin explains that the northern hideout is a site for conducting horrific human experiments. A ninja with abnormal homicidal impulses, Jugo is the sole carrier of the enzyme necessary to create Orochimaru's curse mark.
Episode 6 - Formation!

Slipping past the riot, Sasuke arrives at Jugo's cell. But Jugo refuses to be released, even going as far as to say he rather die a lonely death than to leave the hideout. Jugo then resigns himself to his homicidal impulse and enters the battle against Sasuke, and later Suigetsu.
Episode 7 - Kakashi Chronicles: A Boy's Life On the Battlefield, Pt. 1

More than ten years ago, the rule of the Five Great Shinobi Nations was destabilised, throwing the world into a conflict later to be known as the Third Great Ninja War. The future Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze assigns young Kakashi, Obito of the Uchiha clan, and Rin, a medical ninja, on a mission to Kannabi Bridge.
Episode 8 - Kakashi Chronicles: A Boy's Life On the Battlefield, Pt. 2

Obito ignores Kakashi's order to continue with the mission and leaves to save Rin, who was kidnapped by the Rock ninja. But the enemies detect Obito's arrival and defeat him. Kakashi arrives at the last minute and saves Obito. To rescue their precious comrade, the two boys work together to defeat the Rock ninja.
Episode 9 - Assemble

After hunting down the Four Tails, Itachi and Kisame are summoned by the leader of the Akatsuki. The leader announces the death of Orochimaru to the gathered members and the possibility of his killer, Sasuke, setting his sights on the Akatsuki organisation. Meanwhile, the Hidden Leaf receives the same news and begins preparations to stop Sasuke by capturing his likely target, Itachi Uchiha.
Episode 10 - The Hunt

Under Kakashi's command, the Leaf ninja set off to find Itachi. Using Kakashi's ninja hounds, they gather as much information as they can on Itachi. Meanwhile, the members of the Hebi also scatter to look for information on Itachi. Led by the ninja hound tracking Sasuke's scent, Sakura arrives in town and draws near to Karin.
Episode 11 - Clash!

Upon encountering one another, Sasuke and Deidara engage in battle. After exchanging a few blows to test Sasuke's strength, Deidara conjures up his specialty clay dragon and wages long-range attacks against Sasuke from high above.
Episode 12 - Art

Determined to destroy the Sharingan to rid himself of the taste of defeat he received from Itachi, Deidara unleashes his biggest attack, the C4 Karura. Created to kill Itachi, this fierce weapon is capable of destroying living beings from the inside using millions of nano-sized bombs.
Episode 13 - Disappearance

Sasuke goes missing after being caught by Deidara's suicidal bombing. Sensing his disappearance, Jugo, Karin, and Suigetsu race to Sasuke's last location. At the same time, Naruto and his friends who were on their search mission also notice the big explosion.
Episode 14 - Twilight

With Kiba leading the way, the Leaf ninja follow Sasuke's scent that they picked up from the site of the explosion. But Karin senses the ninja hounds' presence. Suspecting a pursuit by the Leaf ninja, she notifies the others and the Hebi members quickly leave the inn. To allow Sasuke to focus on his coming battle with Itachi, Karin comes up with a plan to keep the Leaf ninja occupied.
