Season 1 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - 1. Bonapartes Restaurant

Gordon visits Bonaparte's Restaurant in West Yorkshire. While the head chef aspires to be on TV, Gordon discovers that he cannot cook an omelette, and winds up setting the cooker on fire.

Episode 2 - 2. The Glass House

Gordon travels to The Glass House Restaurant, where orders in the kitchen are mixed up, food's not cooked properly and the customers are complaining.

Episode 3 - 3. Walnut Tree

Gordon goes to The Walnut Tree Inn. It's in big trouble - there's no head chef, the customers have dwindled, and the owner has had to sell the family home to keep the business afloat.

Episode 4 - 4. Moore Place

Gordon visits Moore Place, run by two self-confessed restaurant virgins. They've both had successful previous careers, but hadn't fathomed was just how difficult it would be to run a restaurant.

Episode 5 - 5. The Glass House - Revisited

Gordon returns to the Glass House. A few months on, there have been some departures. Who is in charge of the kitchen now? And, more importantly, is Ramsay's Caesar salad still on the menu?

Episode 6 - 6. The Walnut Tree - Revisited

Gordon revisits the Walnut Tree, to see if owner Francesco has followed his advice by finding a new head chef and resisting the urge to meddle in the kitchen.

Episode 7 - 7. Moore Place - Revisited

Gordon goes back to Moore Place, to discover whether his fast-track guide to restaurant success helped the brewery whiz-kids transform their failing ex-Berni Inn into a profitable business.

Episode 8 - 8. Bonapartes - Revisited

Gordon returns to Bonapartes, and discovers whether ambitious chef Tim has managed to maintain the same level of customers after his recommendations for improvement.
