Episode 1 - In Medias Res

Based on William Brinkley’s popular novel, THE LAST SHIP chronicles the aftermath of a global catastrophe that nearly decimates the world's population. As the world continues to struggle for survival, The Last Ship returns with a new mission to save humanity. Over the course of the first three seasons, The Navy destroyer U.S.S. Nathan James has been the central vehicle for the discovery and distribution of the cure to the Red Flu, resulting in near global recovery. After the chilling events at the end of last season, Tom Chandler (series star ERIC DANE) has given up his heroic titles and responsibilities and sought solace – and anonymity – with his family in a small fishing village in Greece. Meanwhile, Captain Slattery (series star ADAM BALDWIN) and the crew of Nathan James have discovered that the virus has “jumped kingdoms” and now infects the world’s food crops, bringing humanity to the brink of global famine. As the ship traverses the Mediterranean in search of a solution that can save the world's food supply, Chandler encounters his own enemies in Greece. His “hero’s journey” becomes a modern day retelling of Homer’s Odyssey. In the first of two back-to-back season four premiere episodes, the Nathan James faces another global disaster sixteen months after thwarting the coup in America. The question remains – where in the world is Tom Chandler?
Episode 2 - The Pillars of Hercules

In the second of two back-to-back season four premiere episodes, Chandler immerses himself in a mission for revenge. Meanwhile, the crew of the Nathan James, having lost their only lead, continue their search for an item that could save the world.
Episode 3 - Bread and Circuses

The crew of the Nathan James searches for a precious item, leading them to a strange place of opulence and violence where they cross paths with a most unexpected ally.
Episode 4 - Nostos

As enemies close in on all sides, the crew searches for one of their own. Meanwhile, Slattery is haunted by visions of the past.
Episode 5 - Allegiance

The Nathan James is diverted from their mission when they receive a suspicious distress call from a fishing trawler.
Episode 6 - Tempest

With an enormous storm on the horizon, the Nathan James must navigate an equally terrifying threat in order to make it to safety.
Episode 7 - Feast

The search continues with a reconnaissance mission, but things turn violent when an old foe resurfaces.
Episode 8 - Lazaretto

An undercover mission in the land of the dead leads to disturbing revelations about the sinister plans of Dr. Vellek (guest star PETER WELLER).
Episode 9 - Detect, Deceive, Destroy

The crew of the Nathan James faces a threat that will test the limits of their Naval tactics and strategies.
Episode 10 - Endgame

In the season finale, Chandler confronts his enemy – and his personal demons – in a final showdown… with the fate of humanity on the line.
