Episode 1 - The Macon 7

As a group of slaves are planning to escape from his plantation, Tom Macon looks to enlist his abolitionist lawyer brother to manage his campaign to be Georgia’s next U.S. Senator.
Episode 2 - War Chest

As Noah lays plans for the slave escape, John and Elizabeth Hawkes are drawn deeper into the Underground Railroad. Ernestine presses Tom to keep her children safe.
Episode 3 - The Lord's Day

After Noah decides on a date to begin the escape, his plan is jeopardised when a tragedy rocks the plantation. Elizabeth worries when her ex-fiancé is enlisted to hunt down runaway slaves.
Episode 4 - Firefly

With Rosalee and Noah on the run following her attack on their overseer, the fate of the other escapees depends on Cato. An escaped slave jeopardises the Hawkeses’ future.
Episode 5 - Run & Gun

With a reward making their escape more difficult, the runaways look for a new path to freedom. Tom and Suzanna try to turn Pearly Mae against her family and friends.

As the runners commandeer a gunboat-turned-brothel to make their escape, Tom enlists a prominent religious leader to bolster his Senate campaign. John is conscripted into the search for the runaways.
