Enrico Colantoni (Actor)
Born: February 14, 1963 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Trivia: Chances are likely that you would recognize his face, and it's even more likely that although the face is familiar, you don't know that his name is Enrico Colantoni. Though he struck a funny bone in audiences with his role as a befuddled alien in the 1999 comedy hit Galaxy Quest, Colantoni had been appearing in minor film and television roles since the late '80s. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in February of 1963 and raised in a prominent Italian neighborhood of the city, his early interest in acting would result in frequent neighborhood skits to entertain family and friends. His interest in performing peaked after seeing his older brother in a high school play, and despite his interest in the stage Colantoni would later opt to study law at the University of Toronto. Coming from an inartistic background, his parents frowned upon Colantoni's passion for acting, and the aspiring thespian quietly opted for a drama class as an elective as he focused most of his energy on law studies. Colantoni's drama teacher quickly recognized the young actor's potential, and it wasn't long before the bright lights of New York City became to glaring to resist. When his parents announced that they were moving back to Italy, Colantoni made the difficult decision to remain in New York and live the life of a struggling actor. His gamble would soon pay off when Colantoni made his television debut in an episode of Friday the 13th: The Series in 1989. Later deciding that he still needed time to refine his talent, Colantoni subsequently attended Yale and later spent a season at Minneapolis' Guthrie Theater in 1994. Soon thereafter returning to the Big Apple, more stage roles followed until Colantoni was cast in an episode of NYPD Blue as the schizophrenic son of Peter Boyle's character. He made his film debut in the 1995 action comedy Money Train, and subsequent feature roles included Albino Alligator (1996), The Wrong Guy (1997), and 1999's Stigmata. It was during this time that Colantoni was also cast in the weekly comedy series Just Shoot Me. Later essaying the aforementioned role in Galaxy Quest, Colantoni appeared as a murderer in Steven Spielberg's A.I. before taking on roles in The First $20 Million is Always the Hardest and Full Frontal in 2002. He continued to have success in television series' throughout the 2000s, and became known for his roles as Keith Mars on Veronica Mars (2005-2006), and Sergeant Greg Parker on Flashpoint (2008-2011).

That was back in 1993, but long before then, Johnson had an extremely successful career as a gymnast. Training from the time she was a small child, Johnson worked her way up to Class One and participated in more than one Olympic Games.Tragically, a severe injury ended Johnson's career as a gymnast when she was just 17, but with determination, she changed her focus and set her sights on acting. After studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, Johnson began auditioning, racking up jobs like the infamous Power Rangers gig and the TV movie Susie Q. The young actress continued to act in theater while increasingly rich onscreen parts came, including the role of Julie on the drama Felicity in 1998. Julie was originally written to be a dancer, but with Johnson's input, the character was changed to be a singer/songwriter, giving Johnson a chance to showcase her musical talent. She would use that talent again in the VH1 movie Sweetwater the next year, eventually pursuing music as an entire second career. She released an album called The Trans-American Treatment in 2001, and a second album, Imperfect, in 2005.Johnson stayed with Felicity for two and a half years before leaving the show to star in a variety of movies like Interstate 60 and Hard Ground. In 2004, she played Stacy Reynolds for the fourth season of the Lifetime cop drama The Division, and in 2005, she joined the cast of the popular TV drama Wildfire. Kathleen Robertson (Actor)
Born: July 08, 1973 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
Trivia: A player on Beverly Hills 90210 from 1993 until 1997, Canadian actress Kathleen Robertson didn't begin to get recognition for her work in film until she started an on- and offscreen collaboration with director Gregg Araki. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, on July 8, 1973, she began acting at the age of ten and launched her career in Canadian television and film. She had her big-screen debut with a small part in the 1992 bomb thriller Blown Away, and the following year was cast on 90210. Her first collaboration with Araki came in 1997, when he cast her as Lucifer, one of a group of bored, alienated, and very horny Los Angeles teens in Nowhere. Robertson went on to work with him again two years later, starring as the center of a love triangle in Splendor, Araki's salute to screwball romantic comedies. The same year, she appeared in Dog Park, another romantic comedy, directed by fellow Canadian and Kids in the Hall alum Bruce McCulloch. As her onscreen profile heightened, Robertson made news offscreen by announcing her romantic involvement with Araki: their relationship was a shock to many, as the director had been openly gay for years. Ironically, after sending up the Gidget wave of the 1960s with her role in Psycho Beach Party (2000), Robertson would turn her talents to skewering the beauty pageant world as Miss Tennessee in Sally Field's feature directorial debut, Beautiful (also 2000). Robertson kept the laughs coming in 2001 with her role in the Keenan Ivory Wayans' Scary Movie 2 before heading back into more serious territory with XX/XY (2002). Gemini-nominated that same year for her performance as controversial Canadian murderess Evelyn Dick, Robertson would next make a brief foray into television with the shortlived David E. Kelley sitcom Girl's Club. A string of indie comedies and dramas were quick to follow, and in 2006 Robertson would join an impressive cast that included Ben Affleck, Adrien Brody, and Diane Lane for a look at the last days of television Superman George Reeves in Hollywoodland. In 2007, Robertson took on the role of the evil ruler Azkadellia in the Sci Fi channel miniseries Tin Man, opposite Zooey Deschanel. She then worked on several projects produced in her native Canada, like guest-starring on the series Flashpoint and Rookie Blue and starring in Down the Road Again, the sequel to 1970's Goin' Down the Road. In 2011, she joined the Kelsey Grammer led, Starz series Boss, which aired for two seasons..
