Episode 1 - Dead Like Me - Pilot, Pt. 1George (Ellen Muth) is an 18 year-old college dropout with no real skills no interests and no motivation. Her life is built around cynicism that infuriates her family and anyone else who comes into contact with her. But all that changes when George's mortality comes to an abrupt halt in a fluke accident - a toilet seat from the MIR space station falls from the sky and drives her into the pavement. In order to for her soul to move on to its next level George finds out there she has a quota of souls she must remove from those about to die. Dead Like Me revolves around George's adventure. |

Episode 4 - Curious GeorgeGeorge breaks a cardinal rule and sneaks back to her parents house. She attempts to communicate with her mother only to discover that the annoyingly trite saying you can never go home is even more accurate when you're dead. |
Episode 5 - ReapercussionsGeorge finds a loophole in the Reaper rules and decides to spare her next mark but quickly learns that if you flip-off Fate Fate flings it right back in your face ten-fold. While continuing to keep tabs on her little sister George realizes she can take care of herself. |

In her absence Rube discovers Yvonne a reaper from his past who has just returned from a particularly difficult mission of her own... a mission she began sixty years ago. |
Episode 8 - Reaper MadnessGeorge finds herself in a strange and potentially romantic relationship with a man who can see gravelings while Rube helps Yvonne adapt to life in the new millennium and cope with the fallout of her years of deep sea imprisonment.. |
Episode 9 - A CookAfter George brings home a dog left behind by one of her assignments her life suddenly gets considerably more complicated. Meanwhile Rube takes a job as a short order cook at Der Waffle Haus after he reaps the main chef. |
Episode 10 - Sunday MorningsAn assignment leads George to a college campus where she befriends a fresh-faced coed with a curious fascination for a literature professor...who just happen's to be George's dad! Sitting in class with her new friend George gets to know her dad - and herself - in a way she never did in life. |
Episode 11 - Business UnfinishedFed up with her low-paying job George is vulnerable to a scam cooked up by Daisy and Mason to extort money from the rich son of a woman whose soul will not cross over. Using a dead relative story to get a few days off from Happy Time George is used as an assistant who must baby sit the woman's soul until Daisy can arrange a seance. But Rube is onto them and busts the trio chastising them for abusing their powers. Meanwhile Rube learns that Roxy's uncharacteristic cheer coincides with the anniversary of her death. He helps her deal with her grief and move on as George returns to Happy Time |
Episode 12 - The Big Bicycle ThiefAfter George informs Delores that she's found another higher-paying job and will be leaving Happy Time a bereft Delores organizes a going away party Mason takes the souls of a gay together-forever couple while Daisy is called to task by the soul of a young painter who won't cross over. And when JD the dog runs away from the Lass home Reggie Joy and Clancy blame each other as they search for the glue of the family. |
Episode 13 - Night HawksUnable to sleep and reflecting on her life (and afterlife) George heads to the Waffle Haus where she finds the reapers filling out evaluations under Rube's watchful eye. After glimpsing a post-it which lists her family's address George disobeys Rube and rushes to the Lass house. |
Episode 14 - VacationWhen the Gravelings take the day off our reapers are stuck cleaning up an ensuing filing fiasco. Although the filing gets underway at Der Waffle Haus George convinces Rube to move the operation after hours to Happy Time where computers and modern technology are available. Meanwhile George is distressed to see Joy Clancy and Reggie heading to the family cabin without her. George reflects on the family's happier times at the cabin as we see her parent's marriage fall apart. |
Episode 15 - Rest In PeaceThe Lass family is preparing to visit George's gravesite where her headstone is being set. Meanwhile Rube pops the soul of a yoga teacher who surprisingly can't wait to embrace the great beyond. Elsewhere Mason embraces a young woman who puts an end to his sexual dry streak after he divulges his undead secret identity. And back at Happy Time George asks Delores for her job back. In the end the reapers gather at George's gravesite. |
