Episode 1 - The Mystery of the Lost Japanese Treasure

The Lost Japanese Treasure is believed to be buried under the Philippines for safety by retreating Japanese forces at the end of WWll. It is said to include relics, artwork and most importantly, large amounts of gold which was melted down into bullion bars. Austrian historian and explorer Klaus Dona, believes that after four years he is close to finding the treasure itself.
Episode 2 - The Shroud of Turin

Apparently imprinted with an image of Jesus' crucified body, the Turin Shroud is one of Christianity's most famous holy relics. Scientists battle to try to prove if it's genuinely the burial cloth used to wrap Jesus' dead body, or if it's a fake.
Episode 3 - The Nazi Hunt for Holy Relics

Part of the Nazi plan was to take control of most of Europe's vast collection of artworks, treasures and gold. The Nazi's hid this massive loot down within mine shafts in Austria and within Germany. The plan was then to re-house it in the new city of Linz in Austria. An American detachment known as 'The Monuments Men' slowly found and repatriated a large proportion of the loot.
Episode 4 - The Search for Noah's Ark

On a hillside near Mount Ararat in Turkey is what most scientists believe is just an unusual boat-shaped rock formation. Hoping to prove it's the remains of Noah's Ark, a research team investigates the site with a variety of scientific equipment.
Episode 5 - The Mystery of the Crystal Skulls

The Mayans and the Aztecs are said to have revered mysterious crystal skulls due to their supposed supernatural powers. A few examples are alleged to have survived today in museums, but sceptics believe these to be modern-day fabrications.
Episode 6 - The Secrets of the Pyramids

The Great Pyramid at Giza in Egypt is a wonder of the World. But when was it built, for what purpose and by who? What can the earliest Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara add to the argument? The Bermuda Triangle. It is a loosely defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft and ships are said to have been abandoned or disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

It is one of the most secret places on earth, Vatican City. It has its own laws, police, guards and, unbelievably, its own ATM's that print out also in Latin. For many it's a secret world of libraries, priceless Holy relics and artwork that does not allow outsiders within its territory.
Episode 10 - The Salem Witch Trials

The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft in colonial Massachusetts between February 1692 and May 1693. But the State ruled that court rulings were unjust and pardoned those who died. More recently, Salem has grown massively in 'Witch' tourism and has become the most 'Witch' related place in the USA.
Episode 11 - The Search for the Real Moses

Many historians believe that the Biblical Moses actually existed. From his remarkable similarities to an Egyptian pharaoh, to archaeological investigations that suggest the true location of Mount Sinai, can evidence be found to confirm that his life was more than a story?
