At the invitation of her friend, fertility specialist Naomi Bennett, Addison leaves her job in Seattle and heads to Los Angeles to start a new job at Oceanside Wellness Group and to begin a new life. Her arrival, though, is unexpected for Naomi's business partners at the co-op: Naomi's ex-husband, internist Sam Bennett, psychiatrist Violet Turner, pediatrician Cooper Freedman and alternative medicine guru Pete Wilder (who is convinced Addison is there because of their recent kiss). On her first day, Addison is presented a case that could make or break her acceptance among the Oceanside staff.

Episode 91 - Season 5, Episode 15: You Break My Heart

Cooper and Charlotte take Erica to Seattle Grace to meet with Derek, Lexie and Amelia regarding a very risky surgery; Scott tells Violet that he would like to take their relationship to the next level; Addison finds herself caught in the middle of Sam and Jake's fight about a patient; Sheldon warns Sam to be cautious as he deals with the return of his sister, Corinne.

In this Addison-centric episode, her role as a parent is challenged when Henry’s biological mother reappears and asks to be more involved in her young son’s life. Meanwhile Addison reconnects with her mentor, who shares a very painful secret and Addison is sued by a mother who thinks Addison should’ve told her to have an abortion instead of giving birth to a special needs child.

Episode 105 - Season 6, Episode 7: The World According To Jake

Upon hearing that he must meet with Henry’s social worker during a home visit, Jake fears that an incident in his past will come to light. Meanwhile, Addison becomes skeptical of Jake’s needy patient; James continues to pursue Amelia; Violet counsels the parents of a missing girl; and Jake disapproves of his daughter’s new boyfriend.

During a dark moment in his life, Sheldon finds happiness with a new woman. Meanwhile, he becomes increasingly suspicious about his patient Nick’s involvement in Sarah’s disappearance; Addison reveals she is engaged; and Violet continues to counsel Sarah’s parents.

Episode 108 - Season 6, Episode 10: Georgia On My Mind

Charlotte stresses the doctors out when she continues to run Saint Ambrose Hospital from her doctor-ordered bed rest. Meanwhile, scared that Charlotte might never leave the hospital, Mason begins acting out in school; Cooper devotes all his time on keeping watch on the first triplet; and Stephanie finds herself being Charlotte’s private nurse.

Episode 109 - Season 6, Episode 11: Good Fries Are Hard to Come By

Amelia, now sober for more than a year and on the mend emotionally, goes on a series of disastrous blind dates set up by the other doctors at the practice. After vowing to be alone indefinitely, she teams up with James on a medical procedure, which leads to dinner -- and the dinner leads to something completely unexpected.

Episode 110 - Season 6, Episode 12: Full Release

Addison attends Henry’s court date and realizes that the judge still has some concerns about Jake’s past, Sheldon introduces Miranda to his friends, and Cooper’s efforts to secure a dream house are put on hold when Charlotte goes into labor.

Episode 111 - Season 6, Episode 13: In Which We Say Goodbye

ABC’s hit drama “Private Practice” will end its run with a special farewell to the beloved doctors of Seaside Health and Wellness. Naomi returns to stand by Addison’s side on her wedding day, Cooper struggles with the hardships of being a stay-at-home father, and Violet begins a new project close to her heart, on the Series Finale of “Private Practice.”
