Episode 1 - Sniper's Nest, Pt. 1DCI De Freitas's personal fallout with boss and partner chief superintendent Robert Drake is the least of her worries when 3 people are shot dead in a gas station. Nikki and Jack conclude that it’s the work of a shooter from long range. De Freitas contains her animosity towards Drake, as the team works to find a killer striking at random.

Episode 2 - Sniper's Nest, Pt. 2The sniper plays a macabre game of cat and mouse with police. Thomas tries to ensure the safety of his daughter and estranged wife amidst growing public fear, while fighting his urge to interfere in their lives. Nikki and Jack look closer at the targets to reveal the motive. The investigation is scaled up by De Freitas, but it's Jack's shocking discovery that leads the team to the perpetrator.

Episode 3 - Falling Angels, Pt. 1Nikki and Jack investigate a man killed by a train. When a woman is murdered after being followed on the underground, the team faces the prospect of building a case against her husband. Nikki forms a bond with DI Nelson. He asks her to evaluate the details of his father's murder. When a roofer is stalked and killed, Nelson and the team identify a suspect on the tube cameras who links the murders.

Episode 4 - Falling Angels, Pt. 2Tension on the tube network threatens to boil over. The verdict in the first death is questioned and witnesses are brought in. Amongst them is Lana Sutherland, a young worker who has taken in a homeless man. DI Nelson lets her go before he realizes she may be harboring a killer. Nikki helps Nelson unearth the mystery of his father's death. He refocuses and discovers what links the victims.

Episode 5 - Protection, Pt. 1When suspected pedophile Dale Barge is found murdered in a children's playground, Nikki and Jack are brought in by detective Rory Drennan. It's not long before the team link Barge's death to a missing child, Lizzie Craddock. Jack teams up with Child Protection DI Conroy. They put pressure on Lizzie's parents to try to find her.

Episode 6 - Protection, Pt. 2Daniel Garvey is found dead in his car and Louise fears that he may have been killed by his stepson, who has just come out of care. Jack and DI Gina Conroy discover Lizzie's last known location, but fear what they may find there. Louise comes under further pressure when she is forced to make a call on whether a sick child is being abused by his parents.

Episode 7 - Squaring the Circle, Pt. 1A shootout leaves young Ukrainian nanny Sofia Teplov dead, along with an unknown hitman. The Russian oligarch target Maksim Bazhanov narrowly escapes. Nikki and Jack work with DI Sarah Parks to ascertain the identity of the hitman and find out who is trying to kill Bazhanov. The discovery of the hitmen's identities frustrates the team when they realize they could have been hired by anyone.

Episode 8 - Squaring the Circle, Pt. 2A young woman working for the Doshi property moguls, Amy Greenwood, is found dead in Maksim Bazhanov's apartment. Amy's mother is a powerful player and she puts pressure on DI Parks's investigation. Suspicion falls on Adam Lansley, a violent activist known to target the rich. But Maksim is powerful with many enemies and they find them where they least expect.

Episode 9 - One of Our Own, Pt. 1Rising star Sergeant Sam Honeywell is found beaten and shot in his car. The police are up in arms and DCI Sullivan is determined to nail the killer. When a local drug dealer has an alibi, suspicion shifts closer to home. Honeywell is found to have been in an affair with Kate Parry, wife of his friend, Sergeant Carl Parry. Jack reveals details of Honeywell’s final moments, which hit Sullivan hard.

Episode 10 - One of Our Own, Pt. 2Jason Simons is found murdered in a way similar to Honeywell. As anomalies in his autopsy stack up, the team discovers that Simons was not what he seemed. Traces of drugs on Simons’s knife point them towards a major drugs import, but his girlfriend claims to know nothing. Suspicion turns back to Fallon, but a discovery in his records and another death take the investigation in a new direction.
