Released three albums in the 1990s with R&B quartet Xscape. Made her solo debut in 2000 with Hey Kandi, featuring the hit "Don't Think I'm Not." Joined the cast of Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2009. Has written songs for a number of R&B artists, including Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Destiny's Child and TLC.
