Deepali, a rich girl, meets Pritam while on a holiday. Unknown to her, Pritam falls in love with her and wants to marry her. After Deepali returns home, Pritam follows her and meets her maternal uncle, Choudhary. Impressed with Pritam, Choudhary is convinced that he will make a good husband for Deepali. When Deepali finds out, she is furious because she considers Pritam as only a friend and loves someone else.
