The Citizen
After losing his wife and daughters during the war in his homeland of Guinea-Bissau, a man settles in Budapest, Hungary, as a political refugee. Though he faces prejudice, he wants nothing more than to become a model citizen of his adoptive country. Things get complicated when his relationship with his married, white cultural tutor Maria turns romantic.
