Episode 1 - Pilot

Head writer Liz Lemon finds herself defending her live TV show when brash the new network executive starts meddling -- The premiere episode features single comedy writer Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) living every comedy writer's dream - head writer on a demanding, live TV variety program in New York City, which stars one of her closest friends, the sweet, but self absorbed Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski). Her world is turned upside down when brash new network executive Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) interferes with her show and staff, and bullies Lemon into convincing Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) a wild and unpredictable movie star, to join the cast. Donaghy encourages Lemon to get to know Jordan before she rejects him outright, and in an attempt to spend quality time with him, she finds herself swept up with him and his entourage in some unlikely places and positions. Episode 2 - The Aftermath

One erratic star (Tracy Morgan), one neurotic star (Jane Krakowski), and a meddlesome boss (Alec Baldwin) create panic in the writers room - Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) must now face her writers and keep "The Girlie Show" from falling apart as her new boss, Jack Donaghy forces creative changes to her show and the writing staff and cast learn how to deal with new star Tracy Jordan's antics. But, despite, his erratic behavior, Tracy may be the one who unexpectedly pulls the cast and writers together. Jane Krakowski, Scott Adsit, Jack McBrayer, Judah Friedlander, Lonny Ross, Keith Powell and Rachel Dratch also star.

     

Episode 3 - Blind Date

Jack plays matchmaker, setting Liz up on a blind date - Confident he can fix both Liz Lemon's (Tina Fey) sketch show and sex life, overbearing boss Jack (Alec Baldwin) sets Liz up on a blind date with his friend Thomas. With Liz readying herself for her blind date, Jack infiltrates the writers' weekly poker game.

     

Episode 4 - Jack the Writer

Liz keeps aspiring writer Jack from taking over the writers room and Kenneth the Page tries desperately to impress Tracy --- As Kenneth the Page quickly learns working for Tracy Jordan may be more than he bargained for, Liz struggles to keep ego-maniacal Jack out of the writer's room and the scantily clad Cerie in her clothes.

  

Episode 5 - Jack-Tor

After being pressured by Jack (Alec Baldwin) to plug GE products into her show, Liz (Tina Fey) integrates Jack himself into a sketch. While Jack hones his questionable acting chops, Frank (Judah Friedlander) and Toofer (Keith Powell) trick Jenna (Jane Krakowski) into fearing for her job and Liz wonders if Tracy is faking illiteracy to skip out on rehearsals. Scott Adsit, Jack McBrayer and Rachel Dratch also star.

  

Episode 6 - Jack Meets Dennis

Liz Lemon goes back to her ex-boyfriend Dennis, (guest star Dean Winters) simply because she's bored - Liz confesses she got back with her ex ... because he asked. Jack Donaghy fears that Liz is leading a life of mediocrity and takes it upon himself to be her mentor. Meanwhile, back at the show, Liz needs to deal with a physically-altered cast, including a face tattoo on Tracy; botox and collagen injections on Jenna and Josh sporting two black eyes from a run-in with an angry Regis Philbin.

  

Episode 7 - Tracy Does Conan

Two stars arguing over a coveted appearance on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien' (guest star Conan O'Brien) push Liz Lemon to the edge - Jack Donaghy bumps Jenna Maroney's scheduled appearance on 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien' by booking new star Tracy Jordan. Jenna, still irate over watching the show change to "TGS with Tracy Jordan," lashes out at Liz. To make matters worse, Tracy's gone off his medication and he's about to go on national television. Will Kenneth the Page fulfill his quest of finding Tracy's prescription and control his erratic behavior? Will Jenna have a nervous breakdown? And will Liz ever break up with Dennis (Special guest star Dean Winters)?

  

Episode 8 - The Break-Up

Liz finally calls it quits with Dennis (guest star Dean Winters) while personal politics pit Toofer against Tracy --- Finally fed up with the boorish antics of her beeper salesman boyfriend Dennis, Liz sends him packing and attempts to hit the New York singles scene under the guidance of Jenna. Meanwhile, Jack deals with his own relationship woes, as he discovers dating a high-ranking official in the Bush Administration may be more difficult than he first thought. The war of words between Toofer and Tracy escalates, forcing some much-needed sensitivity training for the two cast members.

  

Episode 9 - The Baby Show

When the clueless teenage receptionist Cerie (Katrina Bowden) announces her sudden engagement to a wealthy Greek heir, Liz (Tina Fey) contemplates her own marital - and maternal - future, while the seemingly unbreakable Jack (Alec Baldwin) crumbles underneath the weight of his own "mommy issues." Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer, Scott Adsit, Judah Friedlander, Keith Powell, Lonny Ross and Rachel Dratch also star. With special guest star Chris Parnell ("Saturday Night Live") reprising his role as the doctor of dubious medical ethics, Dr. Leo Spaceman.

  

Episode 10 - The Rural Juror

While Jenna (Jane Krakowski) anxiously awaits the limited release of her indie film, "The Rural Juror," Liz (Tina Fey) and the writers are loathe to confess they can't even grasp the tongue-twister of a title. Meanwhile, Tracy (Tracy Morgan) - desperate for some financial help - heeds Jack's (Alec Baldwin) advice and creates his own celebrity product to endorse. Jack McBrayer, Scott Adsit, Judah Friedlander, Keith Powell, Lonny Ross and Rachel Dratch also star. With special guest star Chris Parnell ("Saturday Night Live") reprising his role as the doctor of dubious medical ethics, Dr. Leo Spaceman.

  

Episode 11 - The Head and the Hair

Liz falls for an attractive guy and Jack walks in Kenneth's shoes --- Intrigued by two MSNBC guys - the cerebral nerd "The Head" and the gorgeous hunk "The Hair" - they keep running into inside 30 Rock, Liz and Jenna decide to get serious about their dating lives, but find themselves unexpectedly switching their typical roles when Liz admits she's clicking with - and falling for - The Hair. Jack and Kenneth the Page also switch office roles for "Bottoms Up" day, with Jack donning the page jacket and Kenneth spending a day as a corporate big wig.

  

Episode 12 - Black Tie

Tracy tempts Pete while Liz gets a glimpse into Jack's past --- Liz wonders if she’s actually on a date with Jack as she accompanies him to a birthday celebration for a foreign prince (guest star Paul Reubens). While at the ball, Liz sees a different side to Jack as he unexpectedly runs into his ex-wife (guest star Isabella Rossellini). Back at 30 Rock, Tracy tempts Pete with a booze and babe-filled party in the office, while Kenneth the Page tries to keep Pete on the straight and narrow.

  

Episode 13 - Up All Night

Valentine's Day goes awry for TGS cast --- After the entire cast binges on some questionable seafood at the craft services table, they hunker down to pull an all nighter - on Valentine's Day - and cobble a new show together. While Pete completely forgets the holiday altogether, romance may be blooming between Kenneth the Page and Cerie, who is squabbling with her Greek fiance. Liz wonders if her ex Dennis may be back in her life after she receives flowers from a secret admirer. Jack, fresh from the finalization of his divorce from Bianca, wants to celebrate his new bachelorhood with Tracy, who for once wants a night alone with his wife.

  

Episode 14 - The "C" Word

Liz works overtime to prove to her writers that she's a good boss in a super-sized "30 Rock" --- After being a bit harsh on Lutz in the writer’s room, Liz overhears him criticizing her iron-fisted management. Realizing she has to be more lenient with her staff, Liz adopts a more lax leadership style. Meanwhile, Jack takes Tracy along to an exclusive GE charity golf event, but Jack's hope of using Tracy to get closer to Don Geiss, the GE CEO may backfire when Tracy acts a little too much like his uncensored self amongst the corporate big wigs.

  

Episode 15 - Hard Ball

Jack negotiates Josh's contract while Kenneth the Page earns a spot in Tracy's entourage --- When Josh’s contract is up, Jack sees an opportunity ripe for cost-cutting. While Liz tries to keep Josh in the 'TGS' cast and from jumping to a rival show, Tracy awards Kenneth the Page a coveted spot in his entourage. Meanwhile, Jenna gets into some hot water over a misquote in a popular magazine. With special guest stars Chris Matthews and Tucker Carlson.

  

Episode 16 - The Source Awards

Jack forces Tracy to attend The Source Awards, while Kenneth the Page catches the eye of a hip-hop star's girl-friend -- with special guest stars LL Cool J, Wayne Brady and Ghostface Killah -- Jack, who needs to unload his family’s staid and sub-par line of wines, persuades Ghostface Killah (as Himself) and hip-hop producer Ridikolus (Guest Star LL Cool J) to endorse "Donaghy Estates" and introduce the next Cristal. Meanwhile, Kenneth the Page catches the eye of Ridikolus’ girlfriend while attending The Source Awards with a reluctant Tracy and Liz attempts – unsuccessfully – to break up with Tracy’s business manager (Guest Star Wayne Brady).

  

Episode 17 - The Fighting Irish

Jack welcomes his brother Eddie (Special Guest Star Nathan Lane) into the 'TGS' family --- Jack helps his down-and-out brother Eddie (Guest Star Nathan Lane) with a job at 'TGS' - but can the staff handle two Donaghys? Meanwhile, Liz, forced to make staff cutbacks, wonders if axing NBC lawyer Floyd's (Guest Star Jason Sudeikis) girlfriend, Other Liz (Guest Star Anna Chlumsky) would look desperate. Tracy seeks spiritual fulfillment - at his lawyer's request - with the aid of Kenneth the Page.

  

Episode 18 - Fireworks

Jack (Alec Baldwin) turns to Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) for help when an aggressive west coast NBC exec (special Guest Star Will Arnett) declares he's after Donaghy's job --- Threatened by a sneaky West Coast NBC executive (special guest star Will Arnett), Jack (Alec Baldwin) enlists Kenneth the Page (Jack McBrayer) to help thwart any attempts to usurp Donaghy's TV throne. Meanwhile, Tracy (Tracy Morgan) is served with paternity papers and Pete (Scott Adsit) and Liz (Tina Fey) adjust to life as roommates and co-workers. Jane Krakowksi, Judah Friedlander, Keith Powell, Katrina Bowden and Rachel Dratch also star. With guest stars Will Arnett, Al Roker and Chris Parnell.

     

Episode 19 - Corporate Crush

Liz finds love while Jack fights to keep his job -- The tables have turned inside 30 Rock: Liz (Tina Fey) is actually happy in her new relationship with Floyd (Special Guest Star Jason Sudeikis) while Jack (Alec Baldwin) finds his job may be in jeopardy after his televised fireworks fiasco prompts top GE man Don Geiss (Special Guest Star Rip Torn) to warn he's got his eye on Jack's performance. Tracy (Tracy Morgan) vies for Geiss' attention, hoping to turn his feature film idea for "Jefferson" into a reality. Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer, Scott Adsit, Lonny Ross, Keith Powell, Judah Friedlander, Katrina Bowden and Rachel Dratch also star.

  

Episode 20 - Cleveland

Sick of New York and frustrated with his career, Floyd (Guest Star Jason Sudeikis) contemplates a move to the Midwest and asks Liz (Tina Fey) if she'd consider leaving TGS behind. Jack (Alec Baldwin) rushes to Paris - and soon, the altar - with Christies auctioneer Phoebe (Guest Star Emily Mortimer) while Tracy (Tracy Jordan) works furiously on financing his latest career move, dubbed the "Tracy Jordan Comeback." Scott Adsit, Jack McBrayer, Jane Krakowski, Keith Powell, Judah Friedlander, Lonny Ross, Katrina Bowden and Rachel Dratch also star.

  

Episode 21 - Hiatus

With the end of 'TGS' season near, Liz and the cast face decisions that rock the show in the season finale; Emmy Winners Sean Hayes, Elaine Stritch and Chris Parnell Guest-Star -- As TGS' summer hiatus approaches, Liz (Tina Fey) deals with the difficulties of her long-distance relationship with Floyd (guest star Jason Sudeikis) while she enlists Kenneth's (Jack McBrayer) help in locating on-the-lam Tracy (Tracy Morgan). Meanwhile, Jack's (Alec Baldwin) impending marriage to Phoebe (guest star Emily Mortimer) brings his mother, Colleen Donaghy (Emmy Award-winning guest star Elaine Stritch), to town. Emmy winner Sean Hayes and Chris Parnell also guest-star. Jane Krakowski, Keith Powell, Judah Friedlander, Lonny Ross, Katrina Bowden and Rachel Dratch also star.
