Episode 1 - LudacrismasWith everyone on holiday break, Spencer (Daniel Ezra), decides to throw an epic Christmas party, with the help of JJ (Hunter Clowdus) and Asher (Cody Christian), as an excuse to bring him and Olivia (Samantha Logan) closer. Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) gets news about his hand, but he isn’t sure what to do. After weeks of research, Olivia and Billy (Taye Diggs) think they may have a breakthrough on their investigation. Layla (Greta Onieogou) decides to take matters into her own hands to get her dad’s company back. Meanwhile, Coop (Bre-Z) feels replaced when Laura (Monet Mazur) makes a change in the office, which makes Coop think about her future.

Episode 2 - Don't Sweat the TechniqueWith Spencer’s (Daniel Ezra) life hitting a rocky point, he takes some advice from JJ (Hunter Clowdus) and Coop (Bre-Z) to embrace college life. Olivia (Samantha Logan) and Billy’s (Taye Diggs) suspicions about Coach Garrett (guest star Sean Carrigan) resurface and cause tension between them and Jordan (Michael Evans Behling). Layla (Greta Onieogou) makes a power play that catches an unsuspecting Patience (Chelsea Tavares) off-guard. Meanwhile, Asher (Cody Christian) struggles with trying to be JJ’s coach and maintaining their friendship.

Episode 3 - Feeling MyselfWhen Spencer (Daniel Ezra) joins Olivia (Samantha Logan) in her quest to get former players to talk about Coach Garrett (guest star Sean Carrigan), things start to become real for them. With Jordan’s (Michael Evans Behling) encouragement, Layla (Greta Onieogou) agrees to attend a red carpet with Patience (Chelsea Tavares), but Patience is still learning the ins and outs of these exclusive events. Spencer notices that Grace (Karimah Westbrook) is doing a lot of wedding things solo, so he comes up with a solution to make her feel special. Asher (Cody Christian) gets an opportunity to take the next step in his career by going on a recruiting trip. Meanwhile, Coop (Bre-Z) gets too involved in a case at work, leading Laura (Monet Mazur) to step in.

Episode 4 - Turn Down for WhatWith Grace (Karimah Westbrook) and Carter’s (Lamon Archey) wedding right around the corner, antics ensue. While Denise (guest star Alexis Fields) and Laura (Monet Mazur) kidnap Grace for a surprise bachelorette party, Preach (guest star Kareem Grimes) and Billy (Taye Diggs) take Carter out for drinks, and everyone ends the night with more than they bargained for. JJ (Hunter Clowdus) puts together another Vortex game night with Spencer (Daniel Ezra), Jordan (Michael Evans Behling), Layla (Greta Onieogou), and Olivia (Samantha Logan) that goes awry when secrets are aired. Meanwhile, Coop (Bre-Z) is coming to terms with some disappointing news.

Episode 5 - I Need LoveStill not satisfied with her article, Olivia (Samantha Logan) gets Billy’s (Taye Diggs) help to find the missing piece before her deadline. JJ (Hunter Clowdus) ropes Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) into a Valentine’s Day fraternity speed dating event, which leaves Jordan questioning what’s really happening between him and Layla (Greta Onieogou). Coop (Bre-Z) has an opportunity to audit a law class but faces stiff competition for the coveted spot. Meanwhile, JJ begins to wonder if Asher (Cody Christian) is using recruiting as a ploy to get JJ to take off season seriously.

Episode 6 - Can't Nobody Hold Me DownAfter what happens at the press conference, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) try to secure commitments before the end of National Signing Day to help their team. Asher (Cody Christian) tries to capitalize on the unfortunate opportunity by swaying some new recruits with an assist from an unlikely source. Olivia (Samantha Logan) is torn on how to publish her article while also protecting those she loves. Patience (Chelsea Tavares) is pushed outside her comfort zone while shooting a music video. Meanwhile, Jordan and JJ (Hunter Clowdus) throw a party that escalates and ends with Jordan witnessing a rude awakening.

Episode 7 - Hate It Or Love ItHustling to manage the fallout after some shocking news, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) reaches out to Billy (Taye Diggs) for help while Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) contemplates where his priorities are. Olivia feels conflicted about how to balance feelings about work and family. Layla (Greta Onieogou) helps Patience (Chelsea Tavares) with a professional crisis after hitting a major social media landmark. Meanwhile, Coop’s (Bre-Z) first day of auditing law classes doesn’t go as she thought it would.

Episode 8 - Feels So GoodWhen Laura (Monet Mazur) throws Billy (Taye Diggs) a surprise birthday party, everyone comes together to roast Billy, but Billy has a looming decision hanging over his head. Spencer (Daniel Ezra) makes an effort to do what’s best for himself, hoping it helps Olivia (Samantha Logan) and him take a step towards moving on. Jayme (guest star Miya Horcher) offers some sage advice to Asher (Cody Christian) about his speech with JJ (Hunter Clowdus), but she ignores her own about watching out for red flags. Meanwhile, Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) and Layla (Greta Onieogou) get in their first fight over something neither of them could have predicted.

Episode 9 - Feel It in the AirWhen the Santa Ana winds blow into town, they seem to confirm Billy’s (Taye Diggs) theory that they are a bad omen after he faces multiple setbacks. Spencer (Daniel Ezra) convinces a reluctant ally to speak their truth, but it doesn’t come without consequences. Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) finds himself juggling too many secrets and accidentally lets one slip. Olivia (Samantha Logan) throws herself into moving on and comes to an unexpected realization. Meanwhile Coop (Bre-Z) helps Preach (Kareem J. Grimes) prepare for his custody trial and Jordan is torn about how to handle a confrontation between Layla and Clay (guest star Deric Augustine). Meanwhile, Layla (Greta Onieogou) clashes with her father over a decision she made about Keating Records, Olivia contends with success behind a pseudonym, Preach (Kareem Grimes) gets a surprise visit from Amina (guest star Ella Simone Tabu) and Asher (Cody Christian) receives some life changing news. Episode 14 - Make Me ProudDespite his grief, Jordan (Micheal Evans Behling) attempts to man up in his dad’s absence, but when Billy’s death is used to garner positive attention for the struggling GAU football program, Jordan is left wondering if his legacy is only to live in his father’s shadow. Back at the Baker house, no one knows how to confront Laura’s (Monet Mazur) excessive den-mothering, and Patience (Chelsea Tavares) gets ready for her extravagant video premiere event.

Episode 15 - United in GriefSpencer (Daniel Ezra) comes face to face with his grief and those he loves are collateral damage as he spirals into a person almost unrecognizable. Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) tries to step up as a leader but no one's following, JJ (Hunter Clowdus) makes a shocking appearance, and Layla (Greta Onieogou) urges Patience (Chelsea Tavares) to beware of her #1 fan. Episode 16 - My Name IsHoping to revive the GAU football program, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) take a page from the Billy Baker playbook and revisit some former football stars as potential walk-ons…without Coach Kenny’s (Mustafa Speaks) blessing. Olivia (Samantha Logan), Layla (Greta Onieogou) and Patience (Chelsea Tavares) look for an escape from their current life stressors and ultimately rediscover themselves in the process. JJ (Hunter Clowdus) tries to straddle football and the fraternity, and Coop (Bre-Z) gets great news but it may cost her something precious.

Asher (Cody Christian) and Jaymee (guest star Mia Horcher) are ready to share their news but not everyone is supportive. Coop (Bre-Z) is stumbling on new challenges in class, and Olivia (Samantha Logan) is learning that Jayden Davis stirred up more than the football team, but it ultimately sends her in an exciting new direction.
