Episode 18 - Season 3, Episode 2: Player to be Named LaterBrockmire struggles to accept that Jules is dating his good friend. In hopes of showing Jules the "new Jim," Brockmire begrudgingly agrees to put in a good word for Jules' boyfriend for a job at MLB Network.

Episode 19 - Season 3, Episode 3: The YipsWhile dealing with a case of "the yips"-a broadcaster's anxiety that makes it hard to remember the count-Brockmire faces threats from his predecessor, Matt "The Bat" Hardesty. Brockmire prays to God for the first time.

Episode 20 - Season 3, Episode 4: Banned for LifeBrockmire's mother, who abandoned him and his sister at a young age, comes to town. She challenges Brockmire's relationship with his sister and threatens Brockmire.

Episode 21 - Season 3, Episode 5: Clubhouse ChemistryBrockmire urges Charles to leave a toxic relationship. Charles is appalled at Gus' terrible producing skills. Brockmire is infatuated with Matt Hardesty's nurse and tries to make amends with Hardesty.

Episode 22 - Season 3, Episode 6: Placed on WaiversAfter Gabby finds out that she is pregnant and then walks in on her wife cheating on her, Brockmire goes out of his way to be a good friend and to comfort her. She and Brockmire share their experiences of being cheated on while calling the game.

Episode 23 - Season 3, Episode 7: Disabled ListBrockmire deals with sobriety-induced impotence and Matt's declining health. Brockmire's sponsor reminds him that he needs to find a higher power if he wants the AA program to rid him of his anxiety.

Episode 24 - Season 3, Episode 8: Opening DayAs Brockmire and Gabby finally get a chance to call their first regular season MLB game for Oakland, they are confronted with unexpected protestors who are disciples of bigot Art Newlie.

Episode 25 - Season 4, Episode 1: Favorable MatchupThe year is 2030 and the world is in chaos, but at least Jim is broadcasting his favorite sport and has the love of his daughter. He then learns baseball is worse off than he thought and his daughter is moving to New York for college.

Episode 26 - Season 4, Episode 2: Three Year ContractJim is trying hard to enact change in the league but the owners don't seem to care or want it. At the same time, Jim's relationship with his daughter is becoming worse, with visits becoming less frequent as she pulls away and becomes an adult.

Episode 27 - Season 4, Episode 3: Low and AwayBaseball is barely holding on so Jim turns to the one person he knows can turn it around, Jules James. However, it's going to take a lot of convincing to get her to leave Morristown to help a sport and man who both turned their backs on her.

Episode 28 - Season 4, Episode 4: Comeback Player of the YearJim and Jules agree to keep their relationship professional, but when they team up to trick the owners into selling the teams to new owners who will let them make the changes they want, their antics remind them of the relationship they used to have.

Episode 29 - Season 4, Episode 5: Double HeaderJules tries to win Beth's approval of the relationship she and Brockmire are trying to rekindle, but they don't get along until Jules takes Beth under her wing as a drinking buddy. Jim is irate that Jules was a bad influence on his daughter.

Episode 30 - Season 4, Episode 6: The HallAs Beth was growing up, Jim told her everything he knew about her deceased birth mother, but she finds out that he lied to her. On the biggest day of Jim's life, Beth is supposed to give a speech to memorialize him but shows up ready to destroy him.

Episode 31 - Season 4, Episode 7: Union NegotiationsBaseball players' union contracts are up for re-negotiation and a potential strike threatens the future of baseball altogether. Jim and Jules give it one last go and try to negotiate the terms of their potential relationship.
