Season 1 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Pilot / MOW

Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith star as Jill, Sabrina and Kelly, beautiful ex-policewomen, who are hired as private investigators by a mysterious Dyer known as Charlie. Charlie sends his trio of "angels" on tough assignments which may require the "feminine touch." All arrangements are made by phone, or through Woodville (Stiers), the only person who knows Charlie's identity. The other male on the private-eye team is Bosley. The scene of the current project is a huge vineyard estate in California. Charlie's client wants to prove that the missing owner, Vince Lemaire, was murdered by his wife, Rachel (Muldaur), and foreman, Beau Creel (Hopkins). Team sets up a sophisticated caper in which Jill, Sabrina and Kelly assume character roles from kidnapper and wealthy heiress to dowdy secretary. Woodville and Bosley join the caper in various business roles. Their complex and dangerous scheme convinces Creel that there is oil in a swamp on of the estate where Lemaire's body is believed to be burie Events take a disastrous turn in the suspenseful conclusion as the girls observe and his men drag the body from the water at midnight. The trio is suddenly discovered, and must flee for their lives through the unfamiliar swamp, with no help in sight.

  

Episode 2 - Hellride

Charlie's Angels, three bright, beautiful, athletic and police-trained private detectives become involved in a whirlwind of danger when they invest-igate the death of a woman stock car racer in the premiere episode of the new detective-drama series, "Charlie's Angels." In "Hellride," Sabrina becomes a race driver while Kelly, Jill and Bosley assume unusual disguises to learn why a pretty woman driver lost control of her car and died in a flaming wreck. They discover a conspiracy that extends far beyond the track.

  

Episode 3 - The Mexican Connection

Jill, Kelly and Sabrina find themselves in the middle of a syndicate heroin war as "The Mexican Connection" airs on the new series, "Charlie's Angels." Charlie assigns the girls to find the saboteurs of a charter plane carrying cache of heroin. They travel south of the border to Mexico; their mission known only to the lone-surviving pilot of the ill-fated flight. Before they can sake their false identities credible, Charlie's Angels find themselves caught be-tween two warring heroin dealers. Finally, they are able to maneuver one of the drug kingpins into a federal police trap -- only to discover that the other one was working with them all along, under a false identity of his own!

  

Episode 4 - Night of the Strangler

Kelly is a dead-ringer for a famous (murdered) photographer's model Night of the Strangler" on "Charlie's Angels." A series of rag doll stranglings brings Charlie's Angels (Kelly, Jill and Sabrina) into the case. Charlie counts on Kelly's resemblance to the first murdered girl to attract the killer. The wife of a well-known fashion designer is the next victim. Narrowing the possibilities, Charlie's Angels date the three most suspect men -- knowing full well one of them is a killer of great ingenuity and imagination.

  

Episode 5 - Angels In Chains

The entire political and law enforcement, hierarchy of a rural town is involved in an extortion-murder scheme which preys on wealthy, young women as "Angels in Chains" airs on the new series, "Charlie's Angels." The half-sister of a missing girl prompts a Charlie's Angels investigation of a country prison farm and a nearby small town sheriff. Kelly and Jill deliberately get arrested for speeding. They are sentenced by a "kangaroo court" to unusually long terms at the nearby prison-farm. Once there, they discover that the sheriff, prison authorities, and the local County Manager are partners in an extortion-murder scheme. Wealthy young women without relatives are arrested and jailed on trumped-up violations. The women are virtually enslaved until they sign over all their assets in exchange for an "early release" and then killed. Those inquiring further are told that the missing girls have been paroled.

  

Episode 6 - Target Angels

Multiple attempts to kill Kelly, Jill and Sabrina force them to flee to the safety of Charlie's mansion in "Target Angels" on the new series "Charlie's Angels." In separate incidents, an unknown assassin tries to kill Angels Jill, Kelly and Sabrina. The pressure intensifies, forcing the girls to take to the only sure safety they know the compound where Charlie lives. Their anticipation at the prospect of seeing Charlie for the first time dims when they suddenly realize they have led the killers to their real target – Charlie!

  

Episode 7 - The Killing Kind

Charlie calls angels Jill, Kelly and Sabrina together and tells them of the murder of the daughter of an old friend -- a young investigative reporter. In their quest to solve the killing, the three (Jill posing as a magazine photographer, Sabrina as a tennis instructor and Kelly as a guest) penetrate an exclusive hotel-resort. They soon learn that the owner, an underworld figure who, after turn-ing state's evidence and getting a new identity as part of the government's "witness relocation" program, has built a new criminal empire for himself. Their second discovery is that he intends to kill them.

  

Episode 8 - To Kill an Angel

Angel Kelly takes Skip, a little boy in the children's ward at a local sanitarium, on an outing to an amusement park. There, in a moment of confusion, she loses sight of the child. When Skip is alone, two hired killers bump into him making a get away where they have just murdered a man. In his rush, one of the killer drops his gun near Skip. Skip accidentally shoots Kelly and runs away. Kelly is hospitalized with a minor head wound and Angels Sabrina and Jill take up the search for Skip trying to find his whereabouts using his favorite nursery rhyme. One of the killers claiming to be Skip's father visits Kelly in the hospital and learns the clues to help him find Skip and silence him before Charlie's Angels or the police can get to him.

  

Episode 9 - Lady Killer

A sexploitation empire is threatened when its nude centerfold models are mysteriously murdered in "Lady Killer," on "Charlie's Angels." Angel Jill becomes a candidate for the centerfold of Feline Magazine, hoping to tempt the hand of the murderer of two previous models. There are many suspects on the magazine's staff and the in fighting is so intense that attempts on the lives of undercover employees Kelly and Sabrina further cloud the investi-gation. A waterbed is wired to electrocute Sabrina, and Kelly gets into trouble posing as a standup comedienne at the Feline "Kitty" Club. During the confusion Jill finds herself nearly alone - facing a killer who murders, then mutilates models with a pair of pinking shears. Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith star as the Angels, Sabrina, Jill and Kelly, respectively, who work for Charlie, an unseen and very sophisticated boss who phones in their instructions. David Doyle stars as Bosley, Charlie's harried assistant.

  

Episode 10 - Bullseye

Two Army officers profiting from drug purchases murder in order to protect their scheme as "Bullseye" airs on "Charlie's Angels." A recruit in the Women's Army Corps is shot to death on the firing range and Charlie's Angels are assigned to investigate. Bosley works undercover as a civilian researcher with Sabrina as an Array nurse and Jill and Kelly as new enlistees. A military physician and a cruel drill instructor are discovered to be purchasing large quantities of cheap, inactive drugs and reselling them to the Army at top quality retail prices. Unfortunately, before the Angels can complete their investigation, they become the targets of a "search--and-destroy" mission.

  

Episode 11 - Consenting Adults

A computer dating service, fronting for prostitutes and their robber accomplices, starts an underworld war by stealing hot diamonds from a syndicate courier in "The Consenting Adults" on "Charlie's Angels." A prostitute supplied by a computer dating service keeps an antique dealer preoccupied while his store is burglarized of priceless art objects. One of the stolen items is a ceramic frog, stuffed with smuggled diamonds -- belonging to a ruthless crime syndicate boss. Thinking he is lying about the thefts, the enraged kingpin kidnaps the antique dealers and Charlie's Angels enter the case. Jill infiltrates the dating service posing as a hooker but finds that the prostitute involved in the burglary has led the crime boss to the diamonds. In a last ditch effort to gain evidence, Angels Sabrina and Jill disguise themselves as veterinarians and steal the syndicate chieftain's championship racehorse. The chieftain agrees to meet the Angels in a park and turn over the diamonds in exchange for his horse.

  

Episode 12 - The Séance

Rich widows and widowers are hypnotized into thinking their deceased spouses still manage their business affairs from the 'other side' as "The Seance" airs on "Charlie's Angels." A spirited dowager, pressured by insurance investigators about the repeated disappearances of her jewelry, hires Charlie's Angels to solve the mystery. The girls get their first clue when the daffy old lady tells them that her dead husband manages her business affairs from the grave through a medium named Madame Dorian. Kelly assumes the identity of a rich Texas widow; Jill becomes her friend from the 'Lone Star' state and Bosley, their French chauffeur. Unbeknownst to the others, Madame Dorian's male assistant hypnotizes Kelly as he had done with previous widows -- to get financial information from her. During the trance, she reveals her true identity as a private investigator. Realizing that the con game has been uncovered, he programs Kelly to perceive Jill as a childhood "bogeyperson," so he can attempt a getaway.

  

Episode 13 - Angels On Wheels

Jill becomes the hated star of a roller derby team when she goes undercover to investigate the mysterious death of a beautiful skater as "Death on Wheels" airs (day/date/time) on Channel 's "Charlie's Angels." Skating champ Karen Jason is killed after being forced over the guardrail and into the audience during a rough and tumble race. Charlie's client believes Karen was murdered, despite the police report stating that the death was accidental. In search of clues, Sabrina poses as a state insurance investigator, Kelly as a pushy writer for a national magazine and Jill as a member of the roller derby team.

  

Episode 14 - Angel Trap

Charlie's Angels are summoned to try and stop an assassin intent on killing the members of an old French Underground team in "Angel Trap" on "Charlie's Angels." Fernando Lamas guest stars as Jericho, a paradoxically gentle man with a record of assassination dating back to the days of the World War II French Underground. He becomes the prime suspect when a former member of his old liberationist team is killed. From one of Jericho's ex-girlfriends, Charlie's Angels learn chat he intends to eliminate all of the members of his old French Underground team. In an attempt to capture Jericho before he can carry out his plans, Sabrina poses as the girlfriend of Kamden, the' next likely victim of the team, and Jill sets up an "accidental" meeting with Jericho. Jill soon finds it difficult to keep her mind on the job as she becomes emotionally involved with the romantic killer. She and Sabrina guess that the probable time and place of Jericho's next move will be in the city park.

  

Episode 15 - The Big Tap Out

Sabrina, Jill and Kelly con a compulsive gambler out of his money in order to trap him in his usual burglary method of replenishing his gambling stakes in "The Big Tap Out," on "Charlie's Angels." When notorious gambler-thief, Roy David is suspected of burglarizing a securities company of $40,000 to replenish his gambling money, Charlie's Angels are called into the case to obtain the necessary evidence to convict him of the crime. Sabrina and Bosley dupe the gambler into betting nearly half of the loot on a losing horse at the race track. Jill then takes over the scheme at the gambling tables to cheat him out of his remaining money. With David penniless and in desperate need of renewed gambling stakes, the Angels make it easy for him to follow his usual burglary pattern. In front of startled eyes, they carefully, stage a hit-and-run accident in which Jill is apparently killed with detailed floor plans and safe combinations to the casino in her possession.

  

Episode 16 - Angels On a String

Sinister forces attempt to discredit the spokesman for free Poland in "Angels on a String," on "Charlie's Angels." An international political leader is abducted and a double substituted for him at a world conference being held at a resort where Charlie's Angels are vacationing. Having met the leader earlier, Sabrina knows something is wrong. Soon, the girls discover that the culprits plan to have their importer deliver a false, radicalized, seemingly irrational keynote address. Naturally, the press would misquote him, fatally damaging the cause. Sabrina, disguised as the hotel waitress assigned to serve the imposter, saves the life of our Assistant Secretary to State by switching away a poisoned wineglass. Dressed as a maid, Jill infiltrates the ranks of the phony FBI designated to protect him. Together the girls rescue the real politico in time for his all-important address.

  

Episode 17 - Dirty Business

A pornographic film company films the indiscretions of people it wants to invest as "Dirty Business" on "Charlie's Angels". A legitimate business is targeted for arson and Charlie's Angels are called in to investigate. Soon, they discover that the corporation is actually a front for a pornographic film studio - and that the studio films the after-hour activities of wealthy people and then blackmails them into investing. As the scheme becomes apparent, the Angels dis-cover the ring's kingpin - caught accidentally in one of his own porno films…"Sally in Sin City."

  

Episode 18 - The Vegas Connection

Charlie's Angels turn the tables on a Las Vegas con artist who blackmails wealthy former chorus girls in "The Vegas Connection," on "Charlie's Angels." Cass Harper assures young girls of a lucrative job in a Las Vegas nightclub chorus line, in exchange for sideline prostitution. Since many chorus girls end up marrying wealthy gamblers, his con scheme works extremely well at both ends. When any of his showgirl-prostitutes marry into wealth, Harper blackmails them with photographs of their past exploits. That is, until one of his blackmail victims hires Charlie's Angels to put a stop to his setup. Jill and Kelly become aspiring showgirls for the investigation and Bosley poses as a high-rolling spender looking for a good time. To complete the ruse, Sabrina arrives in the guise of an auditor and convinces a powerful casino owner that his employee, Harper, has been embezzling from the club.

  

Episode 19 - Terror On Ward One

Sabrina, Jill and-Kelly infiltrate a big city hospital to find a rapist who has been terrorizing the nightwatch nurses in "Terror on Ward One," on Channel 's "Charlie's Angels." Jill and Kelly pose as student nurses at the hospital and Sabrina enters the case as a local writer preparing a magazine story. Bosley is admitted to the hospital as a surgical patient with a bone spur. Inside, the team discovers old records of a malpractice suit in which a man died. All clues begin to point to the chief surgeon cited in the malpractice suit. His behavior is erratic due to his excessive use of amphetamines to keep up with the pace of his rigorous surgery schedule. The Angels suspicions are redirected, however, when one of the nightwatch staff is discovered to be the embittered son of the man who died in the malpractice suit. Meanwhile, Bosley provides the not-so-comic relief when he is mistaken for another patient and has his healthy appendix removed against his will.

  

Episode 20 - Dancing In the Dark

Lured by a gigolo, wealthy women studying ballroom dancing are blackmailed for all they're worth as "Dancing in the Dark" on "Charlie's Angels." The lonely widow of a Baseball Hall of Famer is blackmailed after a short affair with a gigolo she met at her dance classes; Charlie's Angels are called in to investigate. Jill masquerades as a disco-dance instructor, Sabrina as a rich but socially inept heiress and Kelly as a replacement photographer, supposedly sent by the blackmailer's shutterbug. When Sabrina succumbs to the gigolo's charms, Kelly photographs; Bosley even shows up as the irate but blackmailed father. All goes well until the real photographer returns unexpectedly and exposes them all!

  

Episode 21 - I Will Be Remembered

Thieves, wanting to collect a cache of valuable art, try to drive an out-of-work movie star from her dilapidated mansion as "I Will Be Remembered" on "Charlie's Angels." Aging actress Gloria Gibson seems to be losing her mind, reliving the death scenes from her old movies. Because her hallucinations contain corpses, Charlie's Angels enter the case. Angel Kelly gets a job as an extra in Miss Gibson's "comeback" film. Sabrina poses as the leading lady's secretary and Jill pretends to be- a magazine writer, covering the remake of her immortal picture "The Heart of New York." Several attempts are made to kill the actress and the girls during the filming. Finally, the Angels discover that whoever wants Miss Gibson out of the way is after something in her mansion. It seems the artwork she considered to be good reproductions of Italian fresco designs are original works valued in the millions.

  

Episode 22 - Angels At Sea

A murderer lurks aboard a giant ocean liner on the high seas as "Angels at Sea" on "Charlie's Angels." In a series of 'accidents' aboard a cruise ship, a young honeymooning couple is murdered. Charlie's Angels join the trip to Hawaii to in-vestigate for the ship's owner who is threatened with cancellation by his insurance company and bankruptcy. The murderer knows their true identities from the start. Notes promise death; dummies are burned in effigy. Finally Bosley and the girls set a trap. It works and they catch the ship's show lounge comedian -- a mimic who announces from the brig (in Donald Duck voice) that there are three bombs aboard…and each is set to explode within minutes.

  

Episode 23 - Blue Angels

Charlie's Angels pursue a killer cop who extorts money from massage parlor owners in "The Blue Angels," on "Charlie's Angels." When two men are found murdered under suspicious circumstances in a massage parlor, Charlie's Angels are called in to investigate the policeman who reported the crime. Sabrina goes undercover on the vice squad as an assistant to the officer who is suspected of extort-ing money from massage parlor owners. Kelly signs up for the police academy training course to locate two recruits suspected of aiding in the coercion. Jill reopens the massage parlor where the murders took place. Word gets to the officer-suspect that the parlor is thriving once again and he calls Jill to extort money. Jill and Sabrina contact Kelly who has located his recruit-cohorts. Things seem to be going smoothly and a payoff/arrest time is set when, unexpectedly, Sabrina's police officer ex-husband identifies her during a routine business visit to the guilty cop's office.
