Episode 1 - Episode 1Detective Inspector Rachita Ray is promoted to the Homicide team, but soon questions whether she’s there to ‘tick a box’ after being briefed on her ‘Culturally Specific Homicide’ case, involving the murder of a Muslim man. Rachita’s team believes the murder was a so-called honor killing, but Rachita isn’t convinced and goes against the wishes of her superior officer in search of the truth.

Episode 2 - Episode 2Rachita goes back to work against DC Henderson’s wishes. Everyone around Rachita still believes this is an honor killing, but her findings point to the contrary. As Rachita gets closer to the truth, she finds herself in danger, but the team is skeptical when she reports the threat. A new lead comes through via CCTV, but further investigations lead to even worse discoveries.

Episode 3 - Episode 3The body count continues to rise as Rachita as the team uncover more evidence leading them to believe they are dealing with highly dangerous organized criminals who are one step ahead. As Rachita and Tony grow closer, she unwittingly draws him into danger.

Episode 4 - Episode 4Fuelled by tragedy, Rachita seeks out Intelligence and tries to set up a meeting with the informant’s handler. She believes the controller holds valuable information that will crack the case. After discovering surprising evidence, Rachita is forced to confront a devastating truth that has a huge impact on both her investigation and her personal life.
