Episode 1 - PilotPowerful tabloid editor Lucy Spiller (Courteney Cox) will stop at nothing to dig up the Hollywood dirt her readers crave. Together with schizophrenic paparazzo Don Konkey, Lucy lands a new source, struggling actor Holt McLaren, who plans to trade tips on his movie-star girlfriend, Julia Mallory, for good press. What none of them yet realize is that the truth can extract a heavy price on those who exploit it.

Episode 2 - BloganLucy sends Don to photograph a deceased Kira Klay for a controversial cover shot. Meanwhile, Willa tries to impress Lucy by tracking down information on the imminent birth of "Blogan," love-child of hot couple Blair and Logan. Holt wants to use his newfound fame to help Julia, who still can't remember the accident.

Episode 3 - OvophagyLucy desperately needs a hot cover story to launch the newly minted magazine, "Dirt Now." She has promising leads in a press-shy pop singer and a missing rap artist, but hungry reporter, Willa, struggles to get key information and Don is distracted by his haunting new girlfriend. Julia returns to her sit-com and Holt is courted by a big-time producer.

Episode 4 - What to Expect When You're ExpectingLucy blackmails basketball star Prince Tyreese (guest star Rick Fox) into helping her track down a missing rap star. Lucy and Leo's mother Dorothy Spiller (guest star Mariette Hartley) announces her plans to re-marry on the anniversary of their father's suicide. While Holt begins filming his new action movie, Julia seeks comfort in the arms of sexy drug dealer Garbo (guest star Carly Pope). An increasingly ambitious Willa goes to new lengths to get a story.

Episode 5 - You Don't Know JackAfter bailing Don out of jail for trespassing, Lucy publishes Don's photos of action-movie star Jack Dawson (guest star Grant Show) in the arms of her brother Leo. Menacing visitors threaten Dirt Now publisher Brent Barrow to reveal Lucy's source about the murder of Aundre G. An out-of-work and out-of-control Julia interrupts a photo shoot for Holt.

Episode 6 - The Secret Lives of Alter GirlsLucy assigns her onetime mentor Chuck (Paul Ruebens) to help Willa investigate the murder of a teenage girl from a small town. Holt and Lucy finally confront their own attractions.

Episode 7 - Come TogetherJack Dawson's lawsuit jeopardizes Lucy's magazine and her relationship with her brother. Willa's excitement over her first cover story is short-lived when her source recants. Don embarks on a relationship with a coffee house waitress.

Episode 8 - The Thing Under the BedTroubling questions from Lucy's past prevent her from sleeping. Willa teams up with Don to uncover a secret celebrity wedding. Julia deals with rehab while Holt deals with his career.

Episode 9 - This Is Not Your Father's Hostage SituationDirt Now becomes news when former child star Sammy Winter takes Lucy and the entire magazine staff hostage. As Lucy and her staff are forced to produce an entire issue of Dirt Now dedicated to the former star, Lucy attempts to determine if Sammy is a harmless has-been looking for a career boost or a true threat.

Episode 10 - The Sex IssueTo help herself and the Dirt Now staff recover from their hostage crisis, Lucy decides it's time for some fun; Dirt Now publishes its first Sex issue. While investigating celebrity sex stories, Brent and Willa find themselves in a compromising position with an underage girl whose father wants to make her a star. Don faces his intimacy issues with Abby. Holt does one bad deed in order to hide another.

Episode 11 - Pap SmearedAn eager young photographer offers to help Don as he competes for the same story with a band of gangbangers-turned-paparazzi. Julia discovers that Hollywood has moved on without her as Holt fears his relationship with Lucy might be exposed. Barrow resists Willa’s attempts to separate business from pleasure.

Episode 12 - Caught On TapeA horrified Julia learns that a sex tape of her and a former co-star turns up on the Internet, which results in a media circus for Lucy. Don gets a mysterious assignment from a lost friend. With her best photographer missing, Lucy relies on Willa to help her save the magazine's image as well as her job.

Episode 13 - Ita Missa EstLucy goes head-to-head with her longtime rival Tina Harrod (special guest star Jennifer Aniston) when a rumor surfaces that Tina is up for Lucy's job. Don continues his mysterious mission. Holt and Julia reach a bitter climax. As Willa sets her eyes on Lucy's position as editor-in-chief of Dirt Now, Lucy gets a shocking revelation about her stalker.
