Episode 1 - How Will I Know?

Shelly Williams (series star EVE), the owner of fashion company DivaStyle, is an intelligent woman attempting to balance the exhilarating worlds of love, sex and career.

  

Episode 2 - Shelly and?

After accepting J.T.'s proposal, Shelly giddily starts making plans for the wedding until her mother, Beverly (PENNY JOHNSON JERALD - "24"), shows up unexpectedly, determined to convince her daughter that marriage is a bad decision.

  

Episode 3 - Three Divas, No Style

Feeling like Shelly always ignores their creative input at DivaStyle, Janie and Rita decide to start their own line of items in the store, sparking a fierce competition between the women, both personally and professionally.

  

Episode 4 - The Lyin', the Witch and the Wardrobe

After gaining weight and being unable to fit into her own gown, Shelly wears a client's dress on a date with Jalen (San Antonio Spurs basketball player ROBERT HORRY) to the Black and White Ball, only to get caught in it by the customer.

  

Episode 5 - The Price of Friendship

After Shelly gives Janie a dollar to play the lottery and Janie wins $5,000, the pair's argument over the money escalates, putting their long friendship in jeopardy.

  

Episode 6 - Break Up to Make-Up

When Shelly and Janie refuse to let Rita be the new face of DivaStyle, she threatens to leave the partnership. Meanwhile, Donovan tries to help J.T. and Nick improve their looks by persuading them to use makeup.

  

Episode 7 - Model Behavior

As Shelly and Janie prepare to unveil their new DivaStyle clothing line at a big South Beach fashion show, they discover that their former partner, Rita, will be modeling for their biggest competitor.

  

Episode 8 - Janie, Shut Up!

Janie calls a popular radio show to vent about her mother-in-law and ends up revealing more than she intended to. Meanwhile, Nick and Rita start dating.

  

Episode 9 - Brit Better Have My Money

While being interviewed by local news reporter Aramanda De La Cruz (LAUREN SANCHEZ), the girls find out that the manufacturer of their new "DivaStyle Ready to Wear" clothing line runs a sweatshop.

  

Episode 10 - Marty in the Middle

Wanting to help Shelly get a date, Janie urges her husband, Marty (recurring guest star REGGIE GASKINS), to introduce Shelly to his single friend.

  

Episode 11 - All About Eve

Arriving home for the holidays, Shelly discovers that one of her mom's favorite students has taken over Shelly's old room...and her life. Meanwhile, the guys decide to skip Christmas and watch football instead.

  

Episode 12 - Banishing Acts

After learning about J.T.'s former relationship with Shelly, along with his roommate situation with Rita and other facts, J.T.'s new girlfriend, Rochelle (KIM FIELDS - "The Facts of Life"), feels threatened by the women in his life and forces J.T. to choose between her and his friends.

  

Episode 13 - Diva Day Care

When Janie brings her cousin's baby to work, Shelly's maternal instincts are aroused. Shelly feels that she is a great businesswoman and dynamic individual, and therefore she will someday be an excellent mother.

  

Episode 14 - Mo' Money, Mo' Problems

When Shelly, Janie and Rita end up with a huge windfall due to the success of their business, each of them deals with her newfound wealth differently. Shelly immediately splurges on expensive clothes and accessories, draining her account within days.

  

Episode 15 - Oh, Brother

When Janie's younger brother Paul (RUBEN STUDDARD - "American Idol") comes to visit, Shelly discovers that his longtime crush on her still exists, and she isn't quite sure how to handle it now that he's all grown up.

  

Episode 16 - Rules of Engagement

Still fond of Grant (recurring guest star SHARIF ATKINS), the man she almost married, Shelly takes him to lunch in an effort to remain friends.

  

Episode 17 - To Sir, with Mom

After J.T. fails an anatomy test, his mother, Frances (recurring guest star DAPHNE MAXWELL REID), embarrasses him by begging cranky Professor Dunson (ROBERT PICARDO) to let J.T. take a makeup test.

  

Episode 18 - Separate, But Unequal

When Nick realizes that he's in love with his girlfriend and wants to fully commit to her, she reveals that she is still married.

  

Episode 19 - Girlfriends

While negotiating with a department store buyer, Brenda (LENISE SOREN), to stock their clothing line, Shelly and Jane find out that Rita had a one-time lesbian fling with Brenda. They try to convince the reluctant Rita to romance her former flame in order to expand their business. Meanwhile, after losing an expensive bet to J.T., Donovan enlists Nick's help in winning his money back in a rigged poker game.

     

Episode 20 - Donovan on the Brink

The gang is surprised to learn of Donovan's past as a teen pop star in England when a rapper, Lazy G (OMAR GOODING - "Barbershop"), wants to sample one of his hit songs.

  

Episode 21 - Daddy's Home

Shelly's father, Yusef (recurring guest star CLIFTON POWELL), shows up after years of absence to show his support for Shelly when she is named Miami's Designer of the Year.

  

Episode 22 - Daughter Don't Preach

After pregnant Beverly (recurring guest star PENNY JOHNSON JERALD) finally reveals the truth to Yusef (recurring guest star CLIFTON POWELL), Shelly questions Yusef's ability to commit to Beverly's child.
