Episode 1 - What to Do When You LandWord travels fast that Miles Daley (Chris O’Dowd) has been released from prison and reactions are mixed. Louis is stoked to have his buddy back. But April finds herself flustered by the news and Emma is keen to establish a new relationship with her dad. No one however is as shaken by the news of Miles’ release as Laurence Budd. Meanwhile Rick Moreweather (Ray Romano) has a sneaking suspicion that a personal tragedy could make a great movie. And Yago makes a case for his release.

Episode 2 - Dark Roast, Oat Milk, Two SplendasPolice question Miles (Chris O’Dowd) after the discovery of his roommate’s body and the news that Miles may once again be entangled in violence stokes Laurence’s (Steve Weber) growing suspicion. After a visit from Agent Stevenson (Andrew Leeds) Rick (Ray Romano) realizes the danger his script about Amara may have created and vows to get back all twelve he distributed… or was it thirteen? Meanwhile Rick invites Miles Louis (Sean Bridgers) and Yago (Goya Robles) to a mysterious meeting.

Episode 3 - Strong MoveEmma (Carolyn Dodd) asks Miles (Chris O’Dowd) to help her friend who’s found himself in trouble with a dangerous gang. Meanwhile Yago (Goya Robles) tries to prove his worth to Capotillo. In spite of his insecurities Rick (Ray Romano) decides to give his script to his famous film-producer dad (Peter Bogdanovich) for advice and gets an unexpected response. And Louis (Sean Bridgers) has trouble adjusting to his new fast-paced work environment.

Episode 4 - What Else Did God Say?Rick (Ray Romano) comes to terms with the realization that Amara (Lidia Porto) is alive and back in Los Angeles. Miles (Chris O’Dowd) pretends to help Laurence (Steven Weber) with his HR problem before it leaks to the press. Meanwhile Louis (Sean Bridgers) has a humiliating experience at work and contemplates his life choices...as well as his beard. And April (Megan Stephenson) still shaken by her evening with Miles gets an unexpected offer...one she may not be able to refuse.

Episode 5 - The StickMiles (Chris O’Dowd) sets the final phase of his plan into action as he seeks revenge on Laurence Budd (Steven Weber). Acting as anonymous sources Miles and Ed (Isaac Keyes) call major news outlets with information about the sexual harassment cases against Laurence. And Rick (Ray Romano) comes to the realization that Amara (Lidia Porto) may not be able to change her ways and gives her an ultimatum: the simple life together with him or the lavish dangerous life without!

Episode 6 - Tomorrow They Light Me on FireWhen detectives show up at Budd E. Boy Productions to interview employees about Laurence Budd's apparent suicide Miles (Chris O’Dowd) feels on edge. Meanwhile Ali (Michaela Watkins) continues her campaign to become President but Miles uses the audio recording from the costume party against her and gets himself a hefty promotion to Senior VP! And concerned that Amara (Lidia Porto) is behaving a unusually Rick (Ray Romano) suggests a vacation in the cabin to get away for a while.

Episode 7 - Should Not Throw StonesMiles (Chris O’Dowd) is questioned by Detective Mischka (Mike O’Malley) in connection with Laurence Budd’s (Steven Weber) death. And Mischka is sure there's something there. Reeling after his big fight with Amara (Lidia Porto) Rick (Ray Romano) connects with a long-lost friend (Heather Graham) and finds comfort at a very loving commune. Meanwhile Yago (Goya Robles) and Ed (Isaac Keyes) search out Amara’s hidden stash.
